I'm gonna take a guess at Idris Elba. He and Ron Pearlman are the only actors I would recognise from that cast. Though it turns out that Charlie Hunnam was in Byker Grove. Ant & Dec will be jealous of his Hollywood success (I hope!).

Idris Elba is magnificent, mainly for his role in The Wire (never realised he was British!) and then BBC's Luther. It's Pearlman who I hate. So much.
Anyway, the film was ok. I expected more, Del Torro is no longer Del Torro.

It's all about Pan's Labyrinth for me, but Blade II was fantastic, may watch that again tonight actually.
The Devils Backbone was quite good, but I didn't really like Chronos that much even though it's a respected film. He "presented" The Orphanage, and this is an excellent suspense horror.

Documentary is about 3 different people and how they go about living their lives in California's Salton Sea. If you've never seen pictures of the Salton Sea it reminds me of a real life version of Fallout. It's a perfect place to have a movie around because it's so damn eerie. I've always wanted to see it with my own eyes since it's very close to the Coachella festival, but never have made the extra effort.
Anyways, the film is pretty good. I love the way Alma captures images in this film. You can find it on Netflix and it is worth a watch.

Good watch, i think i might travel to Iceland or Greenland.
Chimpanzee
Again a good watch, not the quality of BBC's Planet Earth (too much Disney in it) but worth a look.

I've seen the original 1947 version. Does that count?

Just finished season 3 of The Wire. Two seasons to go. Great TV program. Very realistic, and top notch acting from a bunch of nobodies. True Detective and Boardwalk Emprie on my list next. Thank you HBO Go.
I'm typically a movie guy, but I haven't been inspired to see any new films lately.
