Hi peeps, I have not posted on here for ages but iv still been reading up regularly.
I went to see the chillis live at City of manchester stadium last friday. They were absolutely fantastic, it had the best atmosphere and supporting was the godfather of funk himself JAMES BLOODY BROWN! The whole thing was amazing.
Did anyone else go to any of their venues?

If he's anything like what he was at cthe chillies then your in for a treat, he's makina massive comeback at the mo, he did all his best tracks (sex machine, i feel good, man's world, papas got a brand new bag etc.) along with his live band the soul general.
I know what you mean by the tikets. Had to whip em up quick, they were gone in about a day or something ridiculous like that and then there's all the wankers selling them overpriced on the gates that nobody buys.

you lucky fucker!!!!
i wanted to go and see the chili peppers. but i couldn't get tickets for the first 2 hyde park show. so i decided to go to glastonbury, but i couldn't get tickets to that either!!! and in that time a third hyde park show was anounced the same weekend as glastonbury, so i never bothered getting tickets for that cos is was going to be in glastonbury!!!! what a mess
chili peppers are an amazing band, i've been into them for nearly 15 years. they always sound fresh. there last 2 albums have been the best work they have ever done. i did listen to the coverage on radio one on sunday. i was somewhat disapointed that they only broadcast 50 minutes of the show in a 2 hour program!!! but can't complain too much cos radio one is class.
i thought the pixies were gonna support the chili's shows, why didn't they??? i would have love to have seen them again. they were the first live band i ever saw!!!!
