It's shocking how hot it's been lately in the UK!! Just thinking about how chilled I got (and the horrible cold I acquired) when I was there in January makes it even more strange. All you English folk must be sweltering out there!
Back in 1991 when I went to spend 3 months in the UK, me and my classmates got there in September and 3 days after our arrival the UK had a heat wave. And all us wimpy thinblooded Californians brought to wear were warm winter clothes, so we were dying and thinking "wait a minute, everyone said England was cold!!" It was so unusual - it was like we brought California to the UK. Then a couple weeks later once the UK went back to normal, we were all freezing our asses off. X-D
