Crazy awesome distortion indie whatever stuff. Discovered this album last night, mindblowing as I was constantly drifting in and out of sleep and dreaming vauge things with this album as the soundtrack...

Moderat - Nr 22

Went to see Moderat a few days ago. And the live version of this track is incredible !
It was crazy in a Chemical-Brothers-EBW6-live-crazy kind of way.

I'm not a gamer but yeah looking at the full soundtrack that's been uploaded to youtube very recently, I see what you mean. Haven't listened to it all yet, but i will. Hmm, I don't recognise that mix of Papua New Guinea...

Nice find on the Akron/Famliy WN; lyrics are daft but great guitars. I'll definitely check out some more of their stuff.

I'm jealous. They played two sold out nights in London recently which I tried, and failed to get tickets for. I'm not crazy about the way ebay has put all tickets on to 'Stub Hub' now (I remember bidding £16 for a pair of Underworld tickets at the start of their Barking tour, and winning the bid; that wouldn't happen now). I considered trying ticket touts outside the venue, but then London Underground called a strike so I gave up, and then they eventually cancelled (part of) the strike, but I was too pissed off by then. The tour dates page on Moderat's website says "to be continued" so maybe they'll come back...

*edit* Looking at Moderat's Twitter feed, it seems they recorded a session for the BBC while in London. Might be worth keeping an eye out for . Pic.

Yeah both nights were sold out here too. I got a ticket from someone on Facebook a few hours before the show, but since it is illegal to sell a ticket more than its original price here, I actually paid less than the real price :)

Heard this on the radio during the week and it reminded me of St Etienne's slower stuff from the good ole days of their first three albums.
