it comes from Belgium and Netherland because it comes from Jumpstyle and Hardstyle. It sucks. A Lot. next time I go in a club I'm taking a shotgun to hunt them down.

Edit : there are a few videos where it looks actually cool, but most of the time it really sucks.

That guy is really good : http://youtube.com/watch?v=mDdxwVqBUV4

Ha! That looks funny. I'd laugh if I saw someone doing that in a club.

by the way, Daft Punk has nothing to do with that since the tecktonik was first danced on "the harder sounds of northern Europe (Belgium, The Netherlands) and the softer sounds of the south (Italy, Spain)"

No body ever been to an extremely crammed dance show? Its pretty much what you have to do...stay in one spot.

This is a retarded craze. I cant believe its catching on. Who wouldve thought that dancing would catch on.

Tektonik my ass. Looks like uni-spot grooovin to me. Cept a lil faaggy

Ben i dont know where you have this information from but let me correct you. This dance does NOT - i repeat DOES NOT - come from Jumpstyle ( or Hardstyle, altho hardstyle never had a particulair dance to go with it )

Jumpstyle is extremely populair in Holland ( we even have like championships ) and altho the music sucks , it really does keep the kids off the streets. Its great to see whole clubs doing this crazy dance. I think its awfull music and awfull dance moves but hey, we all went trough a period in our lifes didnt we ;-)

Tecktonik seems to be a whole new movement but it really has nothing to do with Jumpstyle.

A few example to proof my point ( besides the fact that i'm dutch and Jumpstyle here is so big that u cant turn on the telly, radio or computer without being bombarded by it.

lol yes we have this kind of crazy people in France :( The problem is that they are not only dancing in clubs, but also in the streets: they put their "music" in several places (especially in Paris, Lyon, and other big cities) and "dance" on it...

I just hope it will only be a momentary mode, cause it really sucks :)

Anyway, it should not exist

EDIT : and the movement of the feet in tecktonik look a lot like your second video Jeanie :p
