I dreamt that I was in the same hotel as the Chems, then I stole them a bunch of CDs, hoping to discover new material and rare things. But then I had remorses and I felt ashamed...

@Ben_j--HA! That's awesome.

For many, many years I've had dreams about sharks. Many believe it's a representation of your anxiety, or of threatening forces you believe to exist in your life. I think, for me, it's definitely been an embodiment of the unknown--that I fear what I do not know, and that my life, being in a state of undefinition, was a huge source of anxiety.

Last night, I had a dream where I was swimming in a vast ocean, and there were no sharks. I glided and licked jellyfish, almost like something out of the video for The Test, and everything was open and clear. It was like swimming in the Carribean, and I was content.

Maybe I'm just starting to embrace the unknowns...

I once dreamt I was a sad bastard who insulted people to make himself feel better. Luckily it was all a dream.

hahaha, Slipvin you crack me up sometimes!

Once in a while I have really vivid dreams that involve the ocean. For me these are some of the most memorable. One in particular which is a recurring. More than 20 years ago, (in reality) I had a dog I loved so much and she was old and had cancer and was in a lot of pain. Then came the day when we had to take her to the vet. My mom couldn't do it, so my brother and I took on the task. She loved the ocean, so we took her to the beach as the sun was coming up and let her play. She still had saltwater in her fur and sand in paws when we took her to the vet. She was like a puppy out there next to the ocean, but was was back to being a sick old dog when we took her in for the big sleep - so yeah, I dream about her bounding toward me on the beach at least once a year and the waves are gently rolling up the beach as the sun is coming up. I don't know if it means anything other than my subconscious not wanting me to forget. But it's always a comfort when I have those dreams.

Other oceanic dreams I have involve humpback whales. But that's probably because they're my favorite animal. Or I've had dreams where I've been swimming with them, or swimming in a reef. All ver comforting dreams. Other times I have dreams I can see a tsunami welling up in the distance and I wake up when the panic sets in. But that's a typical anxiety dream.

That being said, I can't remember for shit what I dreamt of last night.

Slipvin: hahaha. nice one.

I've been taking melatonin the last few days and it has DEFINETLY been increasing the amount of vivid dreams I have. I hardly ever remember even HAVING dreams, let alone what happened in them, but the last few days I have had really lifelike ones every night. Last night I got busted by the cops for possession and driving under the influence of cocaine after sliding my car into the ditch on an icy road after a surreal countryside adventure with friends and a girl I'm interested in. Very trippy and surreal.

I'm very interested to see how pot and melatonin will affect my dreaming. Haven't bought any pot since June but I might make a small pickup this week just to experiment.

I had a dream I took acid. The weird thing was that It was I knew I was dreamming and I just thought that t was how the acid felt so at the same time i thought I was tripping. It wasn't a good buz though. I was puking in my dream and I had lost my friends. I've havn't yet done acid.

Yeah, it's weird having dreams where you're tripping, even though you're not. Before I ever took acid, I had dreams where I was tripping. Safe to say in hindsight those dreams I had paled in comparison to the actual experience.

A funny thing about xanax that's sort of related to Darkstar's post. A little rant/tangent to offer some back ground. My job has me really stressed out these days. I can deal with stress when there's a pay off, and the pay off hasn't been... paying off lately. I get paid OK in terms of salary, I love my boss, I like my co-workers, I do feel valued and I'm grateful to even have a job - but the job itself finds me in a bad way lately. I'm not lazy, I love hard work and I love to work hard, and I do. But the job itself, as someone who works a menial customer service job, requires me to be unfailingly polite under all circumstances, and have unfailing patience no matter how rude the person is I am dealing with. You know it's a drag being complained to, bitched at, moaned to, screamed at, or at worst being privy to To Much Information when the customer decides to divulge their entire life story and whatever physical/mental/what-have-you ailments that are plaguing them. It's a bit like talking someone down from a bad acid trip, but hardly as entertaining. Yeah, that's my rant for the day. Sorry for goin' off there.

So every now and again when it's really bad, I take my xanax which in turn really takes the edge off and makes everything aaalllll riiiiiiight for the time being. But when my head hits the pillow, all the stress and overwhelming feelings that were supressed by these little pills are pulled into the dreams I have. The dreams aren't even remarkable in the sense that something terribly horrifying or earth shattering is happening. They are normal, everyday slices of life type dreams that are really stressful situations, really overwhelming issues I have to overcome in my dreams. And sometimes, those types of dreams are worse because when you wake up, you don't know what's what in your groggy state of disoriented confusion.

heh. The pills won't help you now...

I have a dream. That one day on the red hills of.......

wait I might get in trouble if I say that with all the protests going on down in Louisianna right now.

Oddly enough I haven't had dreams for a few weeks now. Really since I started getting my headaches. Which was quite weird because in the few weeks prior to that I was having the most vivid dreams every night about people I knew and they all seemed so real. I can't remember them now which really sucks! so yah that's my Anti-dreams as of late. Come back dreams!!! You Were Wicked!!!

I had the dream I was on acid a while back and it was the most realistic dream I ever had. I dreamed I was candyflipping and everything went haywire, was on the run from the cops, supposed to work, etc.

When I woke up I actually phoned work at 6 AM to make sure I didn't need to be in because I thought for sure I was scheduled and that I might never come down. I was visually hallucinating for real when I woke up. I don't know if it was a genuine flashback or just the most vivid dream ever but it was amazing.

Concussion + pot + acid flashback = teh win!

I had a dream about an hour ago about being stuck on this van ride to somewhere with a bunch of other people, including a girl I was involved with. We were flirting and kissing like the good old days. Hoodies were involved too.

In retrospect, it was a crappy dream to have :?

Damnt. So I had a dream last night again thankfully (Hey the pills are helping now). It ends up of me being back at my old airport job and avoiding my ex and just speaking to all my old mates there. So annoying persisting dream if anything at all. I got sub concious issues.

i had this dream where i was in school, and all the walls were covered in posters. Posters of Sesame Street characters. I was still going out with my ex and we started talking to one of the posters. Big bird started talking back. then we got scared and ran away. the front door at the school led to my basement. my guitars are down there, and my ex (who in real life had never picked up a guitar before) starts playing one, and she's playing solos and shit, thats totally awesome. so then i pick up my other one and i couldnt play for shit (which actually im really good for 14). so she starts laughing at me. then we're back in school all of the sudden, and a bunch of other people were laughing at me too. Then the principal of the school gives me a referral for not knowing how to play the guitar. Then theres this really loud annoying beeping noise. I look up and turn my alarm off.

awesome.....I had a dream few nights ago that was pretty hazy except for one part. I was somewhere here in my hometown when I saw a flyer show a chems date here in the city (edmonton). I was so excited even in my dream. It was kinda disapointing to wake up though. TOM! ED! I wish you (or possibly eroll) could make this a reality.
