Feck I hope it's just my insane imagination, but parts of ebw8/9 remind me of parts of two tracks i've been working on for well over 6 months:

One

and

Two

Unmixed work in progresses, although the first track is almost complete and once done I was considering putting it aside for the Forum CD Vol2. What's the go? I hope I'm just hearing things. :?

Well, that's interesting.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

That's funny! Was commenting right now that those drums are a little consumer style before reading this!!! Funny!!!

Hey Consumer!

The first one is really awesome! Good synth melody and beat programming here! How the heck are you doing these breaks (the toms you know?). Are these loops or made by you? (Still buzz-prog?).

Second isn't bad either but it's not entirly my style. But i muchly enjoyed the last couples of seconds.

Keep on working! Btw, are you djiing with these tunes? What were the responses so far?

Cheers for the listen! Nah I don't DJ. :) Yeah still use Buzz, the beats are from 1 loop, but I chop them up and process them.

I was so caught up in the emotion yesterday with the drums of ebw8 that i just freaked out for a second. To me they sounded so like my style. I think I have the exact same sample kicking around on my pc somewhere too.

Too true about the influence chemicalreaction, it really twists with my mind sometimes. X-D

I would hate to wrongly condemn them. I hope they did not. Injustice is always injustice.

But worse is wrongful arraignment.

Most of the drum loops i get are from sample cd's so anybody can get them. Especially the acoustic drums such as those used in EBW8.

Ummmm, on a side note I'm currently featured on an Australian national radio station's (JJJ) unsigned artists thing.

http://www.triplejun...ed.com/Consumer

I got a brand spanking new track up there that you can stream or d/l and even review if you want, pretty please. I'm hoping to get played on the radio. :-// Scary. I'm working on two other tracks to upload eventually... soonish... after Xmas/NYE. :)

I might first have to post a short sampling of all my latest tracks so ppl here can help me choose the two others to put up. 8)

Hey consumer! I'll check out what you've got there. I know it's an exciting thing when someone gets the chance to be heard on radio. Had the same jittering feet when a track of mine was played on a internet-radio some weeks ago. . .

Yay! Sounds wicked! Nice acid bassline, diggin' the beat and cool bleeps dude! Can't imagine that's all possible with buzz . . .

Yeah this is quite cool Consumer. Sounds very Exit Planet Dust 8)

Can't believe you're still using Buzz... do you use vst's with it?

hey thanks guys! I was using vsts in Buzz, but they made my system slow right down, so I just booted them up separately and sampled what I wanted.

I'm starting to reach the limits of what Buzz can offer. For starters: I have never used a chord with it! Only single notes. Oh the possibities if I could use chords. X-D I basically use Buzz as a sampler and sequencer, not much else. I love working with samples.

So you're using another prog. to make chords and complex melodies? And you're just stretching and pitching the sounds therein in order to create new sounds and after that you're putting the whole thing together, did i understand right?

Sorry, I do use the generator synths in Buzz for melodies and basses and such, but I meant on the one instrument I've just been using one note at a time. Like E-4 and then C-6, or a melody like C.E.CC.E, but never E+C+G, or Cmajors and all that. I just beef up the sound of the instrument so it has more depth.

You probably already know this, but if you hit ctrl++ (ctrl and plus key on the numpad) in the pattern editor you can get more note tracks, so you can sequence chords and stuff 8)

I used to use Buzz, then got into the dark side of pirated software, until last year when I bought a new soundcard that came with Cubase SL3. Also bought Ableton a few months ago too :)
