i think they're quite easy to grow, you just need some spores and a container and you grow 'em on like tissue paper or something :? or go to your friendly neighbourhood dealer for the convenient option!

We tried growing our own - brought back a Amazonina strain kit from the UK (breezed right through customs, I guess it helps being older)



The kits make it fairly simple. But picking them at just the right moment was another story. They grow quite fast, and we'd check them every day and wait for the caps to open just enough. The first harvest grew easily, and I checked them one morning before I went to work, and they hadn't quite opened but I knew it was only a matter of time - I was going to pick them that night. By the time I got home they'd spored this black dusty stuff all over the kit, so they were practically useless, and I was able to save only a few. And there weren't enough to do jack diddly squat. The last 2 harvests barely yielded anything (probably because of the sporing from the first batch) Ah well, it was an experience at least, and you live and learn.



Shrooms are hard to get over here and they are really expensive. No big deal though - when 'stash and I were in London we had more than any normal, rational person should've... don't expect to ever reach that level of trip again and I'm not quite sure I want to!

Really? They're expensive in California? Any decent dealer will be able to hook you up here with a day's notice and cost is around $5/gram, with quality being good enough that 2 grams has usually been enough for each of my friends.

Yeah, the going rate is $30 for an 8th if you don't know someone who knows someone who knows someone. And even then, they'll tell you in 2 weeks they can get you some more and charge you a little less. Pfft.



It's not even worth the hassle, really.

My rents are away and i started a new job that pays enough for me to always keep myself in weed. so me and my mate bought a half ounce between us. i was just sitting in my newly built conservatory smoking a phat J listening to my ipod (its quiiiiiite shit!). Then "out of control (sasha mix)" popped up so ive gone to start locking up and go to bed, when i turned off all the lights in the kitchen just stood there with my pod blazin! it was scary as fuck, but quiiiiiiiite funny!then "i wanna be adored" came on and i felt safe again. thought id share that with you all. hahaha X-D

X-D Gotta love the soothing qualities of the Stone Roses.



'stash has a funny story (actually it was quite terrifying) involving the Stone Roses saving him from completely losing his shit. About 12 years ago when he was living in San Francisco, he was constantly being hassled by these loser skinhead types who generaly gave everyone who wasn't a skinhead all sorts of crap. Strangely enough, the skinheads put out an olive branch and invited him over for a beer or 2. 'stash thought oh all right, drank it, then the fucker skinheads laughed and said "hope you enjoyed that beer man, we spiked it with several hits of acid." 'stash didn't believe them but got the hell out of there anyway. Then the trip started and he bagan running home, and he was freaking out in the middle of the city, it was just a bad scene. He finally managed his way home and he was a peaking mess, totally insane - and he had one request - "put on the Stone Roses, dear god please someone put on the Stone Roses!!!"



And that was that, and everything was cool.

Cant get them in shops over here anymore as they have me reclassified as a class a drug. It was only about a week of two ago that the law changed. Seems stupid cause you could go for jail if your caught with them, but really booze is much more harmfull. But apprentally there is one type of shroom that is still legal in UK, however the affects are totally different compared to Indian, Haiwan and Thai shrooms.



The growing kits look good howver i can imagine them being hard to perfect.

I always enjoy reading a trip report whirly, it's a real insight to the outsider what those situations are like. Sorry to hear stash was freaking out, but I'm sure it wasn't the only time - he's a seasoned pro now, surely!! 8)

Damn, i have such a hang over today. And i was supposed to call a girl and ask her out... i feel miserable :(. But i guess you allways do that on hang overs. I hurt my arm yesterday, i didn't broke it, but it became all bloody (not THAT bloody) and shit so know i have to kind of hide it to my parents and shit. And as usual i forgot to bring my camera to the party, so i won't be able to send you guys any party pics this time =P
