Yeah live sets by fatboy would be cool, however you could say he allready does have a live element to his recent shows playing bass in slash dot dash and getting bands to play the opening tracks live which he mixes the nxt record into.

I dunno how and what way FBS will go with regards to his performances, maybe there will be an inreaseing use of a live band, or he could make his show something more like the chems with synths and akais ect, or maybe he will carry on djing but move to cd and mp3. I would like to see him do sumthing like the chems but with lots of guest vocalists in and playing his remixes with his own tracks whilst dropping a few tracks by other people on cd or mp3. But saying all that i expect he will stay with 12's as when he has commented on mp3/cd dj technology he seems to be negative towards it saying vinyle wont die.

People may shoot me down but ive never herd much crystal methods, people seem to compare them to the chems, would you guys they that is a good comparsion. Havnt herd much orb either.

Ok, go and buy 'Vegas' by The Crystal Method. It's a stunning record, think of EPD but a bit faster (not too much, a nice dance tempo)

Take chemicalfan's advice and pick up Crystal Method's "Vegas" - it is my favorite of the Crystal Method's records so far, and it was a helluva strong debut.

It's true there's been some parallels drawn between Crystal Method and the Chemical Brothers. I've even heard of the Method being referred to as the American Chemical Brothers (it was a long time ago, in some magazine.) And you know, to be honest, I didn't really care too much for this comparison... I can hear some similarities, but I don't think they are copycatting - the Method aren't trying to be the Chems, and vice versa. imo I think both bands are doing their own thing and are arriving at different crossroads in their careers. The two styles from these bands are distinctive from one another, and you can hear that. The Method have their own trademark sounds that appear on all their records, and we know the Brothers do too. In my opinion, they are two different bands who, at one time near the beginning of their careers, were going down somewhat similar paths. Listen, and you'll hear what I mean.

As for the Orb, a great starting point would be U.F.Off. Great friggen record!!
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Cheers whirly and chem fan i will check that out.

someone who is cool that i think is kinda a cross between prodigy and chems is CJ Bolland. Herd some of his stuff and it kicks as. 'Sugar is sweeter' and 'it aint gonna be me' really are some killer tunes. Would love to see him live. Does any1 know much of him or what hes like live.
