At the moment i'm only using FL Studio 6, i always feel a lil bit naked seeing what you all are using in your productions. Seems often like i'm a musically neandertal amongst you all.
But the first investion will be a midi-keyboard, that's for sure. What do you think about an alesis photon 25 for the beginning?

Cubase 4 Is the newest top dog version they have droped the 'sx' tag, as for the others sx3 was the last top dog version sl3 was a cut down version and se3 a beginner version. I received my upgrade to cubase 4 a few weeks back it's very nice, they have upgraded the vst engine to vst3 which is cool it's more cpu friendly because vst3 plug-ins only use cpu cycles when audio is running through the plug-in in vst2 they used the cpu regardless, and it will soon have inbuilt sidechaining and a 64 bit audio engine so that should be sweet :)
