...the day after , the 30st of June , Hollands BEST dance-festival is held in Amsterdam. Its called Awakenings and they do several nights a year and a "day" version. They have 3 tents and one "Open Stage" . Ive been the the edition last Friday and it was fucking amazing.

Mips and i are def going. Tickets are 38 euro's for a whole day.

The festival is well organised. They do check for drugs ( Holland is not as tolerant as it used to be ;) ) So youre underwear is where to put it if youre planning on being cheecky.



Def a reccomendation! Its known as Hollands best dance festival due to the atmosphere and the great dj's , and offcourse its been voted Europ's best lightshow ( Even the worlds best light show for some years , if i'm not mistaken )

And if you still want to party some more after that, the 4th july starts dance festival 5 days off. No names yet except Daft Punk will be playing/opening the event ant the same venue the Chems will have shredded 5 days prior.



See it all comes together. Chems will play, you can awaken the next day so the venue can take 5 days off to start 5 days off 8)

Yes it is - Spaarnwoude is a recreation park VERY close to Amsterdam. Technically its still Amsterdam , but its like a big park.

Woohoo! It was so great to meet you, Pooter! I wish we could've had a little more time (and more beer, the beer at that place we went to was so tasty). We plan on having more frequent visits to the city in the future - on the drive home we concluded that taking years between visits to San Francisco is totally unacceptable!

Madpooter no worries dollface ( Hahahaha X-D my booker in australia always used to call me that and now i use it wherever i can ) we will go togheter if u have a bike but its easier to go from my place ( the north of Amsterdam ) than from the city , but Mips and i will pick u up in the city and go there togheter with you by bike :D It will be awesome! It will be a nice bike journey. I love biking. Biking is the new black u know.
