positive. I tried to recreate iiiiiiiitttttttttttttttddddddddooooooooooeeeesssnnntttmmmaaatteeerrrr magic with iiiiittttbbbbeeeggggaaannnniiinnnaaafffrrriiikkkaaaa but i don't think it quite worked the way i wanted it. But close enough and the UTI bass sweep, i just kindda put it there to see what hapens and the outcome was cool. So there you go.

I'm into making my own music. I've made 5 tracks so far, using mainly free soft synths and ACID 2 to sequence. I've got some hardware now, a Korg EA-1 (very easy to use, but can only really do 1 kind of sound - analog synth. Not a bad thing), a Roland D2 (forget the onboard sequencer, it's crap. Nice sound module though), then some rack units - Lexicon MPX110, Behringer Composer Pro and a Dualfex Pro.



My advice:- If you get ACID, you don't a mixer, just record each part onto your computer. Forget drum machines, software is the way forward. Free soft synths are widely available - check out SimSynth and Orangator.

I used ACID pro for a bit. I really didnt get into it that much.

Oh, I found it quite handy myself, but I still prefer Cool Edit for arranging stuff.

Acid has a fantastic Timestretching and Pitchshifting algorythm i use acid pro 3 for those qualitys alone then import the waves back to cubase sx.

I just use the wave editor that came with Cubasis.
