I love McD's down the street from my house

There was something on the Daft Punk (from one of the sane people on there) about some American kid who eats burgers at McDonalds every day and he is suing them for him being overweight!!!

Stupid kid. Why can't some of these American people admit that they are wrong instead of trying to blame other people? Unbelievable :x .

Actually, there's 2 kids, siblings, trying to sue McDonald's because of their obesity. Their claim is incredibly stupid and I hope the judge throws it out of court. They say they ate 2 Mickey D's meals per day because "they taste so good" and as a result, that's why they got as fat as they did. Fucking stupid if you ask me. What I'd like to know is why their mother would allow them to stuff their pie holes with McDonald's not once, but TWICE a day every day! I don't like McDonald's and there's nothing I can eat there anyway but I do have a little kid who likes to go there every now and again so once in a blue moon I take him to get his happy meal. I cannot fathom putting McDonald's into his mouth twice a day every day until he swells to the size of a blimp. Jaysus...



Another suit against McDonald's is when some numbskull dropped piping hot coffee on his lap and supposedly suffered 2nd degree burns. On one hand, yes, maybe the water shouldn't have been boiling but on the other I don't think a coffee spill warrants a fricken lawsuit lawsuit. But I guess it would make far too much sense to be a little more careful when you've got a steaming hot cup of coffee in your hand.



I won't even go into the lawsuit a mother had against the makers of the low fat snack called Pirate's Booty (not McDonald's related.)



The thing, and this so fits the American stereotype, that the US is sue happy. It's not so much about the blame it's about a quick buck.



By the way. The food at McDonald's has the amazing capability to make a person obese yet suffer from malnutition at the same time. ;)

I don't like compensation much. It just encourages people to go around blaming other people for stuff. When something bad happens, why can't people just get up and say "S**t happens" and forget about it instead of going around saying "its his/her fault".

You guys are so serious about it. Hey take it lightly. I just think it is funny and yes it is very stupid indeed but no need to hate the world for it. ;-)
