I have FL4 studio ver. It works much better then ver 3, but nothing is changed to much. The mixer is 64 channels and there are a couple more cool options and effects you can use. The playlist is a bit different, but it works out for the best in the end. If you want, I can email you a couple FLPs' I made.

Right now i am working my new album and some of the beats are similar to the ones in DYOH. I am trying to copy Chems as much as i could. I think that copying someone style is more difficult than doing your own random thing. I am speaking from my own experience. I try to copy chems in every way possible but the shit is really hard. Their beats, synths and vocals. I can say that my music is really influenced by the Chems and New Order. and my new single of my first real album is a tribute to the Chems and New Order. It is a remix of Blue Monday(New Order) and TPPR (The Chems).......Coming Soon..........Peace.......

are you kidding me? I don't have a label and my music is very primitive but i make it sound like it's the shit. I would say it would take me 1 year or so to actually make real music... I have made a lot of tracks..like 200 or something and every song i make is better than the last one. I am slowly getting into this whole i can make music on my PC thing. I am thinking of buying some samplers and synthesires and drummachines and shit like that. anyone has any suggestions of what kind of cheap software or hardware i should buy ? where do i begin?

DO NOT BUY A POPULAR DRUM MACHINE. DO NOT BUY A SHITTY MIXER; YOU MIGHT GET HUM AND FREQUENCIES MAY BE CUT OFF.
Okay, warning over. I suggest looking for a hard sampler if you haven't already got one. Mixer is unnecessary if you don't have several instruments that you don't want to patch around. I suggest getting and old synth that nobody has heard of. Ask seller for samples of sound first; and if you're within reasonable distance of the seller, go try it out.

I have a analogue synth AKAI VX-600.
It's old but makes GREAT SOUNDS.
I understood that it is very rare.
Akai made only two types of synths.
Now they only make samplers.
I use that for the low bass sounds and the high pitch sounds.
For drum sounds I use my Roland MC303.
I know it's a crap machine but it's cheap and the sound are ok.
For a bit of sampling I use my computer.
Still trying to find a good hardware sampler.
For recording I use my Yamaha DAT recorder and a cheap mixer.
Anybody else with there studio setup????
