Well, if it is decided S. California is the place, we could make this fun.

It would be cool to have an occasion celebrating this... togetherness. Something big to look forward to and plan around. I'm getting the feeling that no matter how hard we try, settling on any one place is becoming difficult. I bet if this thread continues a few more pages, we still won't be 100% decided on a place. Not without some kind of "umph" as a motivating factor. Maybe if (and that's a big *if* since nothing is confirmed yet) the Chemical Brothers play Coachella, we could have a big meet out at the festival? The last time "the kids" came out to visit, the goal was Coachella but that all ended up falling through, mostly in part because Tom and Ed weren't playing that year. :P Still fantastic unforgettable times, and going on the good times I had that weekend, it would be so much fun to have a big ol' posse to see a Chems show with.

acutally, I am pretty dumb-founded myself when it comes to coachella, but thx to the internets and a pretty cool website:

EMPIRE POLO FIELD

81-800 AVENUE 51

INDIO, CA 92201

Just from the lineup last year, it seems that coachella would be a hellofashow, regardless of the chems.

My vote is learning toward So. Cal for coachella in April... which meets many of the requirements.

Cheap --

Paying to get there (varies),

ticket for the show (275 for the 3 day pass, give or take),

camping (45 + ticketmaster fees per person),

food and drink

The date/time is about 6 months away.

and, i forget who said it, but the area is easily accessible to the 'needs' of the masses and their need to smoke.

Thoughts?

^prochem, fly to LA, drive east towards palm springs (or just fly to palm springs), just on the other side of palm springs still in the middle of a Freaking desert. that's one thing I don't miss about the festival......dry heat all day. at least at fuji it rained half the day.

If we all hit Coachella, we really should consider renting a house.

Nah , Mips and i would love to go see Whirls and Stash again and this is one of our NR 1 priorities but even this has to wait cause we both need to save money.

I dont wanna speak for Mips but its not very likely i'll be going!

April is a definite no for me. I'm way too busy. In the fall, I am starting an apprenticeship for carpentry so I intend to do one more big trip next summer and then thats it for me for a while.

All right...

We may have to make multiple spots then... cause this doesn't seem like one meet up will work in the least. too many people, too many obligations to work around.

But for the moment... who is down for coachella?
