hey, thanks for reminding me that it's up now...
well, liking it so far, but as you said, the old site was really something else as far as the look went - but I guess we all have to move on..
I like the ranting under Biography.. heh.. well, until I disovered that I'd been reading for several minutes and I wasn't even a quarter of the way through.. it may be a little much.
And I kinda like the little song clips when you click on each section.. so far.
Oooh! And I enjoy the videos section (click on the big cog in the middle! or just 'music and video'..) with the thumbnails of the vids - that's a nice touch! and Galvanise (would they make up their minds on the damn spelling!??!) streams :D
Downloads -> Digital Downloads -> Chemical Brothers Official Download Store: where was this when I wanted my legal copy of Galvanize, but I could only find stores for UK and US..!? Was it here this whole time?! Well, I still don't know if it'll let me get stuff in Hong Kong, and anyway it doesn't matter now since it's so close to the actual release dates of the CDs.. :D (!) :D
Links: COMING SOON (this must also be what the small cog brings us..) .. should be interesting to see where they link us to! I like Beck's links on his site (i.e. http://www.homestarrunner.com ;))

It's okay. My dislike is of the speak bubble which I believe is too small. I set my monitors resolution back down to 1024x768, it looks like the site was catered to that resolution...it's a real PITA scrolling through that box @ 1600x1200 :'( can deal with it though ;-) I like the sounds and the design.

sigh. I wish there was a way to merge all the "new" site threads into one biggie thread so I won't have to repeat myself. But hey what the heck.
But right on, wayno - that's the spirit. I like the new site too. I like the bio. Yes, it's long, but I like the way it's written. It could've been your run-of-the-mill "they met while studying medieval history at manchester university blah blah blah" like every other site but instead it's a cute, clever look into the Chems, their records, their influences, how the music makes you feel and how it makes you feel about the Brothers. I've never read another band bio anywhere quite like it, and that's part of the reason*why* I like it.
I do want the shop to be open. I want me a t-shirt!

yah, I do like the bio a lot, actually, but I feel like I can't read it all now because it's now early afternoon and I feel like I've spent my entire day (since about 8am) doing absolutely nothing..
