and i definitly dont aprove of what was said on that radio programme. but i still dont think it was intentional that the dj's chose chems. it could just as easily been something else. fast power metal, i dunno.
im sure if the chems are bothered by it they will do something about it...
but mmm i dunno. its just a sad coincidence that they used blockrocking beats

I'm sure there would be a case for getting the station to not use the Chems music in anything that comes close to that white power shite. I'd be most angry if any music I produced was used like that.
Obviously those KFI announcers are unaware of the Anti-Nazi mix. heheh.
Good on you for bringing this to light toomuch'stash!

Yesterday I was watching something like this.
A couple of girls trying to extend the "white pride".
And some neo-nazi things.
It was so disgusting, fucking morons! :x
I won't give any names nor more details, I guess that some of you know about these 2 girls, but I just don't want to promote them, that's why I give no names, and please, don't give names. ;)
Oh yeah, they're like the White Power Olsen twins... the need a good dry fucking up the dirt highway.
Oh yes, Prussian Blue. Little vessels of hate they are.
Look how cute their website is.

In some ways I can agree with what you're saying. I too think it just so happened that Block Rockin Beats was used during the drivel speak, an unfortunate coincidence - I've heard the same song when they do news recaps, traffic, etc. It's used as "filler" music. In all actuality, because Block Rockin Beats hasn't been used to sell anything nor used for any campaigning, or used as an official theme song for a certain show - really, it's just back ground "filler" - nothing probably could be done no matter how many people raise a big stink about it.
KFI is talk radio with a very right leaning slant. Now granted I am not right leaning politically - and it's not so much the political viewpoints that bother me. It's how the talking points on KFI come across. I can listen to political debating all day because I personally find it fascinating to hear right and left ideas. But as soon as the talk starts toeing the line of hate speech like what happens constantly on KFI, that's when my blood starts to boil. KFI is not a radio station that plays music. I don't know much about talk radio in other parts of the world, but here in the States it is not uncommon for talk radio like KFI to start going on and on about how Mexicans are dragging down the US economy, we need to seal our borders and deport everyone, fuck all the poor black people in New Orleans, fuck single mothers, fuck the poor people in general, fuck any idea that might even be slightly "librul", war protestors need to be killed (they really said that) etc. etc. etc. Really, these radio personalities start foaming at the mouth with their rhetoric that has the ability to incite people. And the listening audience buys it, they're fueled by it and see nothing wrong or hate-filled about that kind of talk.
Changing the station will do nothing because there's millions more Americans tuning in every single day.
But still, it just angers me that the musical back drop for the kind of drivel that was spewed last night was Block Rockin Beats. Constant use of any song in that fashion can (even if it's subtle) build up negative connotations between publically hateful speech and the music. Whether or not it was put on absentmindedly by the music programmer is not really so much the point - it's a misrepresentation of the music and on a deeper level, the band. The Chems don't publically situate themselves anywhere on the political spectrum and for good reason I imagine. .

A bit off the topic but the Americans had been playing music very loud as a physiological warfare technique in Iraq, one of which song was ?Enter Sandman? by Metallica and when Lars found out about it he was very annoyed that his music had been used in this way, I don?t know if he could do anything about it but a song been used on the radio should be a different story, it should be easy for them to stop.

btw I know exactly what you mean by feeling aggressive and sarcastic at the same time. I often get that feeling when someone does something really stupid. I feel sad but at the same time i just want to hit something hard...

This totally applies to these 2 girls. Or any children that feel the same way as they do.
I think at the age these girls are, they would know what's right and what's wrong but they're still young and it's very obvious they do not have minds of their own. These girls have the faces of angels and should be playing dress up and barbies and having slumber parties but I seriously don't think they are solely responsible for pushing their white supremecist agenda. I think it's tragic and sad and I do feel a bit sorry for these girls because they are just children. Any kid that holds those sort of views and are obviously pushed to make a career out of it needs to be taken away from the parent on grounds of child abuse because that's where they're getting it from. I know parents aren't perfect, but come on. I know kids slip and say things that are inappropriate but it's the job of the parent to say "listen kid, that's no cool and {blah blah} is why..." In this day and age and considering the giant melting pot the world is coming to, you aren't going to get very far in life if you only stick to "your own kind" and parents who fill thier kids with this type of hate are making it very difficult for their kids to get a realisitic grip later on in life.. The mother of these 2 girls is no worse than any parent who teaches their children that it's OK to harm animals or to beat up another kid because he dresses or talks funny. If this broad wants to push her agenda, she needs to be up there with a microphone and not living vicariously through her children.
