Saw this and thought it was so cool! Amazing live tweaking ala Chems style.

For 1981, quite mind blowing.

Amazing! I never knew Ralf Hutter actually used to dance on stage.

Great footage though. You're watching gods at work.

Yeah, crazy robot dance! I just found it by accident, the moves are great, and just loved the interaction with the Equipment, all the weird bleeps...but yeah, I can't get over the fact that is was 1981, most minimal techno these days is very similar to this. Amazing footage.

Glad you guys enjoyed it, I was in 2 minds 'Should I or shouldn't I' but then I thought what the hell.

yeah thanks consumer, theres a lot of weapons on that stage, wonder if any of them still work? I remeber TOm ROwlands once saying he still uses an old battered synth that has got better with age, like fine wines some things!

Great stuff. Makes you wonder, did Tom & Ed ever seen them live 20something years ago?

Its hugely ahead of its time but then thats Kraftwerk for you. They wrote a track called Computer Love in 1980 which is all people using computers to meet and date each other online - I mean ahead of its time is that idea??? Even the idea of the internet existed at that point never mind anything else.

But so much stuff was ahead if its time in the 70's, it was a real golden age of music. If you listen to Oxygene by Jean Michel Jarre, it was produced 75/76 and is still the pinnacle of analogue synthesis.
