There are so many record stores all over London, so many more than where I live. Some are right there on the main drags and some are tucked away on sidestreets. I swear, if you throw a rock in the air, it's bound to hit a record store! At least that's what it seems like! ;)
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Don't throw stones, especially at greenhouses.

So all the good record stores in London are a train ride away from each other? 8O

don't read too much from the rambleings of someone who writes when he is drunk. i didn't even know i wrote that!!! my house to record shops involve traveling by train.

record shopping is good in london. the high street stores seem to be every where, you can't move in london for all the virgin megastores and hmv's. but i never shop from the high street shops!! if i wanna buy albums, i buy them cheap on the net, or if i want some 12" i go to specialist shops.

soho is excellent for specialist shops. i think berwick steet, off oxford street has the highest concentration of record shops in the uk. it also good for sex shops, peep show, fresh fruit and veg, and prostitutes. what a place. but down that road you got reggae, rock, indie, house and second hand shops. me and my friends all have or own favorite record shop. trips to london for us lot is a regular pilgramage. my shop of choice is plastic fantastic in covent garden.

About the "makoosa sound", I listened to about half of the mix and it was cool. I have no idea how you're supposed to do these mixes, so I just say that from a technical side, I can't see any difference in your work and famous djs. The best of luck to you with your opening sessions or whatever. 8)

lots of technology, toys and gizmos. ditching vinyl for cd mixing was a big move for me. but seeing how most top flight dj's have ditched vinyl totally its the way things are going. cd allow for much greater cretive mixiing. the only problem with cd is you can't much music on this format. these days i have to buy the vinyl then transfer to cd, which is very time consuming.

anyway thanks for your comments!
