I'm tuned into Annie Macs show (I think) at the moment. This track comes on, and I think fuck yeah! this is sounding awesome, I better get a pen and paper ready so I can note it down and download it at some point. As I was listening the thought came into my mind that this could possibly be a chemical brothers track by the way it was made, aka it was just perfect..
Then annie goes 'that;s the chemical brothers with left right!' :D
Now i'm feeling excited let me tell you!
Who's on the vocals btw? something about marching soldiers.

( I'm talking about Galvanize )
About Left Right...i don't know what to think of it yet. It sounds so different from all the stuff we know , but i guess it's the same as Galvanize , you have to get used to it. I don't dislike it at all , i like it actually , but it's not my favorite track off the album.
I Really like the lyrics though !!!

I am determined to like Left Right (then again, I like good rap) even though I've yet to hear it. Some say it might be dated in time, but I think it shows some thoughtfulness on behalf of the Chems to not ignore what's going on in the world.
I don't understand why people are so surprised and disappointed that this track is on Push the Button. Wouldn't you know, Hip hop was a major player in influencing the Chems!! You can hear it in Leave Home all the way up to Get Yourself High to Galvanize... Push the Button is about then and now and everything inbetween. At least that's what the bio says. ;)

I love this track. It's real original golden-era hiphop, not mainstream shite. Anwar is Mos Def's brother ffs, Left Right was always going to be beats and bass with mc'ing as vocals.
Exactly!
