Someone probably already done this, but I'm too lazy to look for it and people's taste have matured since then, so...

If you were stranded on an island with nothing more than your discman, earphones, an unlimited supply of batteries and a cd-map which contains 5 cd's: which 5 albums would be in it?

Mine would be:

1. Leftfield - Leftism

2. The Chemical Brothers - Dig Your Own Hole

3. Morcheeba - Big Calm

4. Orbital - In Sides

5. Jim White - One-Eyed Jesus!

We're missing one important factor here.... what sort of intoxicants will be available on this island? Is there any free growing weed? a little patch of mysterious mushrooms? Fermented coconut milk? Those weird purple flowers they got in Thailand that make you fry balls?

These are very, very important factors to consider.

I cant only take five so ill give you eight ( this is an unrealistic situation, and the rest of you are cheating anyway). These are in no particular order except what i thought of first so:

chems- kick out the jams

amon tobin- out from out where

dream theater- metropolis pt. 2: scenes from a memory (or octavarium if i like it better when it comes out)

opeth- still life

bad company- inside the machine

radiohead- ok computer

chems- come with us

leftfield- leftism

Think 'Cast Away' (that Tom Hanks movie)

SPeaking of Castaway, you remember how he got the shits from all the coconut milk? cuz coconut milk's a natural laxative, right?

well, out at coachella, there was a booth selling hippy vegan food, and one of their items were whole coconuts, with a hole drilled in the top for a straw... I kept seeing people with em and kept thinking about the port-a-potties, and it made me shudder.

is coconut milk really a laxative?

I doubt that because I would think that would make pina coladas very unpopular.
