But still worth it because you'll be seeing your Chems family for the first time in years - and some of us for the first time. :-)

Well, see my other ranting post about bloody See Tickets and the cack usage of SMS delivery service...
the tix are already being delivered in the UK, just MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN AS THEY DONT DELIVER ON SATURDAYS!!! If you need to rearrange a delivery make it crystal clear where youa re going to be.
I may be definitly heading back for the show now as I have got an interview for my dream job that will give me enough money to return in August. And if I dont...well there will be 2 spare tix available at cost in August.

Andy, I pray.
Lucy thanks for the ticket update. Im happy I bought through Ticketmaster (though, I've yet to receive any further information about it)... Sorry its turned out shitty for you...
Hey Biff-meister, when making this trip (outside of the Olympia gig part), are you planning to do your own thing, or are you looking for a straight up travel companion? Just wondering cause Im trying to get an idea of what I would like to do while I'm there, and just wanna know if I should include you in the plans as well. Same goes for you Andy, if you should come.

What ever works Bosco, travel companion might make things easier and cheaper regarding rooms. I might stay in the London area or explorer Ireland too, depending on the budget. If you have any particular plans you'd like to do, let me know. I've been to Europe before, so my expectations might be different, but I'd be down for exploring .

im up for exploring Ireland, if you should desire. The only thing I think I would like to accomplish is to take a day and complete the obligatory tourist delight

sweet! looks like my passport is good til 2013, so I may need to get a new one for that spain gig. Also, good call on asking my parent for help Whirly, I mentioned the trip to him and he started talking about his surplus of flier miles. he did a lot of traveling for work and is breaking out of retirement to go work in Angola, which means more miles for the Spain trip haha.

Still praying for a huge financial miracle, too Pooter. Not looking good for me, stash and Connor. I'm willing to donate a vital organ at this point. Anyone need a kidney?
You can bet the US dollar will be around half of what the British pound is worth in the summer months. London is so very expensive.

Wait... wait... wait...

Edit: And for all of you who won't click the link, the U.S. "Open Skies Act" is going to allow a shitload more airlines to offer flights from the U.S. to Europe and back around. Details can be read from the NY Times article above, but generally, if you apply supply and demand, with a huge increase in supply the price goes down...

Hmmm... interesting. But the last bit of that article touches on rising fuel prices. A major factor that comes into play when figuring overall costs for 3 roundtrip tickets.
stash and I are currently worried about our jobs given the economy right now. Sucks to be me. I'm just going to avoid this thread from now on as it's just too depressing to even think about.

Hey guys, anyone know, are there any tickets left to this show (at London Olympia)? I am eager to get there, but I'm still not shure if I would be able to afford that. I am thinking of Roskilde in Denmark as well. How many of you guys are going to Olympia on the end of August? It would be the dream come true, to be honest with you.
