That's exactly what we were going through last night when watching 24. That show has always been over the top, but last night was worst.episode.ever.

god, I hope not.

I didn't even own a TV for year and years, and now I watch way too much. Mainly late night stoner cartoons, which, in my book, are more acceptable than CSI or American Idol, but too much network TV, even good shows like Lost and Heroes, rots the brain.

I got the Deadwood Season 1 DVD for my birthday, absolutely the best show ever on TV, saving them for when all the new Heroes and Losts are over.

rent Deadwood if you can.

It's exactly like Menace II Society, only with cowboys.

you need to watch at least the first three.

It's like smack. The first hit won't hook you, nor the second....

I don't know if season 3 is out yet. They're going to have the 4 hour series ending finale thing this summer.

Deadwood is a great show! I don't like western themed shows or movies, so I was hesitant about Deadwood. 3 episodes in and I was hooked. The show is so well written and the dialogue is incredible. There's lots of swearing. If you played a drinking game and took a shot everytime the word "fuck" was thrown around, you'd be on the floor within 10 minutes. And although the swearing might seem gratuitous, a lot of the cussing is woven into a web of intricate dialogue which surprisingly works well.

Anyway. My vote for best ever TV show goes to the Twilight Zone.

I'm torn man.

Part of me thinks, yeah, he finished his story, killed his dad (indirectly) so by the rules of every other death on the island, he's done and it's his time.

the other part says, nah, it's only a flesh wound, the jacob ghost guy will save him, and he'll end up taking over from Ben being the leader of whoever the fuck those people are.
