I freaking love New Order. No, really, I listen to them everyday, I've always had a permanent space for one of their records at my mp3 player.

Ceremony is one of my favourite tunes of all time. And I'll kill anyone that bashes "Waiting for the sirens' call", talk about a underrated album...

Ben J : Must have been a hairy moment when DJ Dip Lo dropped Blue Monday. I hope the disc wasn't damaged.

In good cheer, Parky

Just read in the paper today that New Order has fallen apart. All bandmembers will go their seperate ways according to bassplayer Peter Hook.

yeah that was on the cards for a while shame though the last album was mediocre in terms what new order can actually produce. weirdest new order moment for me walking through airport security in barcelona with bernard sumner and the rest of new order behind me in the queue.

Just read another news report on it. It says that Peter Hook has joined Perry Farrel new band Satellite Party. New Orders latets work will be on Anton Corbijns film about Ian Curtis 'Closer' for which the re-recorded some Joy Division tracks.

cool, but it's a shame they broke up, they lasted so long too! I can't wait to hear the redone joy division tracks! :)

The earliest release I can find by new order of anything is 1981.

What album was 'Digital' on?

Well at least I got to see them twice before they broke up.....again.....

Fuji rock 05 was a burner and the Oakland 05 gig with our favorite chemical blokes was a great gig for me (in more the one way, thanks mary), though the rest of the crowd didn't seem to be into it (I still say that WASN'T the worst chems show ever)
