Hey as long as we're dreaming can I have a pony? I'd like the Chems to come back to California, but I reckon it won't be for a while. They can only do so much.
It would be nice if they came and did a few more shows in the States, aside from the 3 west coast shows back in April and the upcoming slot in September, and the private party they did with X-Box in Los Angeles. It doesn't have to be a massive tour, but it would be nice to get some love in for North America, maybe a couple shows in Canada as well.
But if North America ain't where it's at, then there's nothing anyone can do. I feel lucky and blessed to have seen them when they stopped by in California relatively close by to where I live. I'm eternally grateful for that chance to see them, it was an amazing evening...
I don't mean to whine and bitch and moan, and I know that the touring business is beyond Tom and Ed's control. But that Astralwerks newsletter mentioned news of a US tour months ago when we were anticipating Push The Button's release, and when that tidbit of info was dropped from the newsletter that's just not a good thing. There are people who might've gotten their hopes up - why the heck mention something like that if there's not going to be follow through. That just pisses me off frankly. Talk about jumping the gun. I'm afraid that something like this work toward alienating fans. sigh.

I'll settle for a Coachella return next spring. I've gotten rid of the saddle sores from last time finally!
As hyped as I was for even a limited US tour, it will be hard for me to get away during the school year now, so unless it's next spring/summer, it would be getting my hopes up for nothing now.
Coachella in 2006, lads?

Seeing the Chems on foreign soil would be a neat experience. It would really be cool to see the response in different places, although I'm sure once the music kicks in, the response is universal no matter where you are.
Would've loved to have seen them in Turkey when they did their gig there not too long ago. I don't know why, but seeing the Chems in a place like Turkey seems so intriguing to me.
The ultimate for me would be a Brixton gig. Hell if I had the money and extra brain cells I'd schedule all my travel plans around Chemical Brothers shows. X-D

Whirly, that is exactly what I did this past May. I haven't seen the Chemical Brothers outside New York before I bought the ticket to see them at Brixton. I planned my trip around that date. The major difference that I saw between the typical New York crowd and the Londoners is that they screamed and cheered alot more, whereas New Yorkers tend to just dance.
