I think jazz is the next musical realm I'd like to spend time investigating. I just haven't gotten into it as much as I probably should have - and I'm definitely open to jazz fusion type stuff. I'll try checking Forss.
I don't think this qualifies but it's got "jazz" in the title - Mark Farina's "Mushroom Jazz" series are good and on the more mellow tip... at least what I've heard.

One of my favorite bands has a big jazz influence. When they first arrived on the scene they where called the japanese chemical brothers so thats how i checked them out. They use a fusion of lots of styles including rock,jazz and electronic and they are just awsome check out there site :)
