Although it says that Midnight Madness will be a digital single. I would expect it on vinyl as a promo aswell?

What if the tracks are different mixes ? Like for exemple the end of the 05 tour version of BRB ?

Yea the EBW disc is going to be awesome, even if you do have all the EBW's!

if that Brotherhood tracklisting is correct, then I am now officially angry. does anyone else agree that Come With Us is the most underrated Chems album??

Yea, gotta agree with you there.

@Ben_J yes, hopefully we get that, some different kind of ending would be sweet.

Man, am I the only one that ever gets excited about the artwork? I've been drawing up a couple of cover designs for it, trying to imagine what it will look like. I sure hope Brotherhood's artwork isn't as plain as the Singles 93-03 was (although the insert sleeve stuff was awesome!).

^ Nope, you're not the only one that gets excited over the artwork! I am curious about it too but since this is a Best Of and not full length studio release album, I don't expect a full blown artistic spectacle. Then again to be honest I was expecting a bit more... pizazz or whatever... for the cover of Singles. I don't mind the simple cover for Singles - I actually appreciated it's simplicity so as not to take away from the unique cover art of the actual singles and albums. And as you said the art on the inside of the sleeve was awesome so if there were any shortcomings as far as the cover goes, the inside more than made up for it !

TJ - don't be upset about the tracklisting for the Best Of! Enjoy your copy of Come With Us and the b-sides from that era, and get ready to have all the EBW's at the ready for easy access and your listening pleasure.

I'm not happy with this release. I spent all that money and time collecting and for what? So some n00b can come along and say "I got the EBW's too". :'(

Yeah, just what the brothers need - ANOTHER singles collection. Anyone else think this might be a sign of the end?

I mean, most people believe that one singles collection is the nail in the coffin... but two?? I have a feeling we're coming to the end of the race here, kids.

I wonder how many singles collections they have in their contract, then...

I don't get why it is so upsetting that the EBW's are being released onto one disc. This is a risk that all collectors take, no matter what kind of collections they have. I've collected singles and special editions of U2 crap for years and years, long before they re-released these things or put them onto singular discs or had them available on iTunes or whatever - but these re-releases don't take away from my collection, nor should they, because I collect for *me*... and I'm proud to have gone through the motions of collecting long before the internet made everything so easy and accessible. And y'all that took the time and plunked down your hard earned cash to collect EBW's that most Chems fans and people in general don't have should be proud as well, dammit. :P I'm not a Chems n00b, but I don't have all the EBW's and I guess that somehow makes me less of a fan... Oh well. I don't feel this EBW compilation will denigrate anyone's collections - especially those who have the vinyl releases of EBW's and what not. Plus, the bonus EBW disc that's coming out with the Best Of is a limited edition.

I see it like this:

'Best Of' = More $$$ for T and E

More $$$ for T and E = New Equipment

New Equipment = New Songs

New Songs = New Album

New Album = New Tour

Damn, I'm good...

Yeah... I'm not going to entertain the thought of Tom and Ed throwing in the towel. People have been saying it's the end of the road for the Chems going on over half a decade now. When the day comes, it comes and I'll be sad. But it's not over til the fat lady sings. Or until Tom and Ed say so. Whatever will be, will be.

VERY good point there Bosco! (I would never thought of that) and it makes perfect sense too! I think that got everybody's attention. T and E with new gear = more concerts!

Same here with Whirly. I collect the chems stuff, but not as much as some people, but I would still buy the discs.

What I really want to see is a box set of everthing (AND I MEAN EVERTHING all albums, all remixes, all B-sides, unseen video, etc. )

I also think 'Brotherhood' is good for fans that are starting to listen to the bros!

crazy question but how many albums are Tom and Ed under contract to make for EMI?

Wait till the day there is a best of 'Best of' album. All te best tracks from best of albums....some bands could do it....maybe tom and ed will go that far into their career.

It's a crazy but logical question, Ryno - but the answer likely isn't one us little people would (or should) know the answer to.

And hmmm... A "Best Of" of all the "Best Of's"... I think you just blew my mind there, hahaha.

What I wana know.. is..

Will these EBWs be top quality.

I have them all but the quality of some suck. for example, jumpy in EBW3. The basedrum in EBW5 is not the same than It began in Afrika. (obviously an early mix, but will they change it).

EBW 7 is a bit low on the volume and EBW9 needs a bit more mastering.

I have downloaded them yes, maby the ones on vinyl fucking rock?

Vinyl quality owns all. Hopefully there will be a vinyl release of Brotherhood.
