You too??

I haven't caught the plague yet, but I have been watching my friends on Facebook drop like flies over the past couple of weeks. And everyone in my department at work have been struck with the flu.

I got my flu shot a month and a half ago, not just because I don't want to be sick but because I wouldn't want to get my parents or my grandpa sick. But I heard this superflu strain is an invasive bugger even if you got a flu shot. So we'll see...

Good luck! I had the flu shot for the first time when we had winter down here and and first time since ever, I actually didnt get the flu. I think I felt a bit light headed at one stage during the flu season but it didnt get any worse.

the only things i can think of that i ever did that werent weed/rld related were:

Anne Frank museum
The Zoo (but i went in the summer)

I can think of something you need to miss, and that is to avoid getting hit by a bicycle or a tram. I have spent hours in a coffee shop only to come out and have a near miss on the road and be completely straightened out.

I had a quick look on Mixmags' website. Londoners amongst us may be interested in the story about 93 Feet East being shut down for abusing their licence. Too bad, it was a nice little venue.
The footage on youtube (courtesy of the police) has to be seen to be believed. How many vehicles did the cops send down the (mostly pedestrian) Brick Lane? Insane! You can see it here.

I listened a lot to oi oi oi and really dig that album, power was a bit of a let down for me. i like 50% of it and the rest is just annoying or too hard/distorted/reptentative for my taste.

For peoples who never listened to BN, this is a megamix with 10 Boys Noize Tracks decently mixed together. in 10 minutes you will find out if this is your cup of tea or not.

Oi Oi Oi was great too me. Then my tastes evolved around the same time that Power dropped. I got to see Boys Noize preform in Central Park for free prior to when the album dropped. Of course he played, at the time, new songs. I was intrigued. When I finally hear the promo release and I was blown away and couldn't wait for the official release w/o a watermark. The sounds to me were so new so different on the 2nd part of the album from Transmission and on. They really stood out to me. Especially, Drummer, Rozz Box, and Trooper. Additionally the album ends with a beautiful ambient? track Heart Attack; It made me tear. He wasn't afraid to experiment I approve.

Not really representative of his more recent stuff, though... lately he's let his love of oldschool house music shine through a lot more, it's done a lot of good for him. He's really struck a good balance between that Gain-blaring 2007 electro sound and something more refined.
