Iggy, you in particular, this means you! You have me in stitches almost all the time (incl. when you're taking the piss out of newbs), but save the banter for those who are used to it!

I do what I want to do. Nobody tells me how I should treat people, I decide that. If I feel like taking the piss, I will. You know, when I first started this whole Internet thing, I was a complete bastard. I miss the old me :( I used to be able to be a total shit to everyone on this forum and not care because it's the Internet, but because i've met most of you arseholes you are now real and I have to treat you with a higher level of respect because I love you sons of bitches. I love you :'(

okay, now i feel like an ass b/c i can hear it. its more than obvious now. someone had told me that it said "this is the beat, not ______" and I had that stuck in my head.

yes, i am a newb on this board, since i dont post much. I'm certainly not a 14 year old that loves trance and e however. I was introduced to the chems in 1998 (not that long ago) and have been collecting their records ever since.

since I asked a stupid question, I'll ask another one that I'm sure I will get bashed for; What mix of "don't stop the rock" by freestyle did the bros. use on "brotha's gonna work it out"? I assume it was possibly a remix that they did, but I wanted to know if it was ever released on vinyl. On the tracklisting, it doesn't specify any certain mix, but I'm pretty sure its not the original.

As far as I know, it's a custom dubplate they cut with Metro LA's 'To A Nation Rockin'', so yeah, it's their own studio reworking. As far as I know. Have to wait for irishfan or sneakerbeater, probably, to stop by before we get a confirmation.

I'll reference ElectronicBattleWarrior at Coachella. The man was moved to near tears without any chemical enhancements.

(But I do recommend the pills.... take the blue one, take the yellow one, take all of them.)

he doesn't count, he was nearly dead from a bronchial infection!

It's funny, I've seen the chems sober, whirly hasn't.

I probably had a similar look when they dropped Surface to Air on NYE. One of the greatest moments of my life. So blissful. Them looping it up, just waiting for the break of midnight. Ah man, I remember that SO vividly.

Sorry, sorry. It's killing me not being able to go this year. And I won't be bringing any pills across the border with me either on the snowboarding trip. Not worth the risk.

Freestyle - Don't Stop The Rock isn't a Chems private remix, as I've got a mix by the Plump DJs with it on. I think it's a really rare electro record from the Kraftwerk days - that sort of era.

The version on BGWIO is a dubplate special, but Don't Stop The Rock is a record in it's own right too.
