Things are getting better. Last week was fuckin rough. Not much time for much else. Up and back from the hospital, making sure my kid was off to school (thank God for stash's mom) and picked up, plus working. Even working from home... I clocked more hours at my kitchen table doing work than I would have if I'd gone into the office. At least I have my health. I'd work 8 days a week rather than have surgery and go through the recovery.
By the way, stash's surgeon looked just like a taller MadPooter! :lol:

haha, Pooter, next time try faux last names Beach or Swinger when putting your name in at a crowded restaurant.
Anywho - I hope my American Brothers had a nice Thanksgiving! Mine was quiet and mellow with stash's family which is fine. I'm up for non-excitement these days. I made a pretty good green bean casserole (I'm usually on GBC duties this time of year). And I tapped into my inner jew-ness and I must say, I made a kick ass matzo ball soup that rivals that of Canter's or Nate n' Al's in LA. Everyone loves hot fluffy balls, right? :lol:

@pooter: let me move in, I can't afford rent, but I'll clean behind the sofa (and search there for any hidden chems track )!
@inchemwetrust: What ever you do, don't forget bring pair of good headphones, a well charged ipod/cdplayer/walkman, and a book or gameboy!! In the name of all that is holy, mark my words!! Jury duty is so boring when you go there the first day. All you do is sit in a room with a bunch of random people, none of which are lookers, and wait for hours, only to find out you won't be needed for a trial. When I went, I had my ipod but couldn't find headphones, plus that was the first time I had all my work for college done. So all I did is sit there and look at the back of someone's head for hours.
Speaking of court, I have to walk down to the court today (I am visiting my girlfriend in santa cruz and didn't bring my car) and dispute petty information about my auto insurance so that I can pay off a $250 ticket for not stopping completely at a residential 4 way intersection at 10:30 on a weekday nigh, even though I slowed down to 3 MPH and put on my turn-signal. I cannot think of anything that makes my arse itch more than a cop in the Meth/Pot/Stabbing capital of Northern California pulling me over in one of the safest areas of town (which isn't saying much), even though all a cop would have to do to keep busy is go to the harbor area and arrest any number of people unapologetic about smoking moon rocks on the sidewalk. So needless to say, I feel pretty white-trash being bored out of my mind before noon about to walk a long ways down to the court on a monday morning/afternoon and argue the citation I received and can hardly afford. I probably could've avoided the ticket had I told the officer, who appeared to be an aficionado of the sweets, that I was only out to go get a doughnut.

@Biff
I rather be @ work!
Intresting enough, it wasn't that bad as it was before. I got to the courthouse 'round 8am and sat my ass down on the chair and just drifted off to the sonic escapades of Surrender, WATN and the usual Chem footage. When all of the sudden, they call my name (along with 40 others) and put me on a panel of jurors for a malpratice suit. But I got excused in a bit, so then I had the 2 hour lunch break but I pretty much slept in the court cafeteria. I'm actually typing this on the computers that they offer there cause its free.
I know what you mean bro about the 'coming to a complete stop' crap! My bro got stopped for that once. Since then, I've been habitually making complete stops since then. I'm fortunate enough to have never gotten a ticket, but I hope that your case prevails in this situation. Besides, In my opinion, you'll win because most people don't wan't to fight these type of traffic issues because they think the police are right and they pay the fine just to 'get it over with'. But when they hear from you, they will reconsider! Harbor Area! Yep! Plenty of things to do over there for the cops!
I think I got 2 more hours of this borefest and I'm out of here.
