Well shit, this is one of the best recent electronic albums I've heard, sounds so fresh but at the same time feels Orbital-esque. Much better than the blue album IMO.

Favs:

Belzeedub
Wonky (I would also love an Instrumental)
Where Is it Going?

What a great come back!

"Distractions"

This is my absolute favourite Orbital track since 1999 and the album is their best since The Middle Of Nowhere. It's sublime!

^This belongs more in the other thread but you can really hear a difference in the recording quality of Orbital's performance and the recording from Don't Think.

Just getting around to listening to the full album. I dig it. Nice to hear something fresh, a bit funky and pretty fantastic from the boys after an 8 year hiatus.

Now if they'll just come to the U.S. again...

I was *extremely* lucky to see them in a one-off gig in 2010 in San Francisco. It was the only show they played in the U.S. outside of Coachella. The universe took pity on me at the time, I suppose...

p.s.

It's 1:30 a.m. The recording of Orbital performing Lush live in Australia came on. I just started raving in my living room. F*ck yes. Love these guys.

I don't like the fact that they changed the sound of the Chime/Crime bass break :( They must have changed the synth that does it

Guys, you should really see Orbital on this tour. Mind-blowing, top of their game.

Oh, and they finally got rid of Doctor Who theme and finished with a storming version of Where is it going?
