Jerk off, hahahahaha!!!

When stash does up the fish in jerk-style, it is so tasty. It's what we have every 4th of July holiday. We have a cook-out on stash's step-dad's balcony that overlooks the ocean. Nothing beats jerk chicken and fish on a holiday when you're looking at the ocean and washing the food down with a nice, cool Red Stripe beer. Mmmm. Tasty!!

prochem - from chef to astrologer. That's an insane career jump, but it's very cool. You can turn your next cook out into a star gazer party, or vice versa. Pretty sweet!

irishfan, my husband makes an incredible Irish stew that smells so amazing, it tempts me into eating red meat again. When stash makes it, he usually makes enough for a small army - so it's a favorite for when we have guests. They seem to love it and ask when stew is gonna be on the menu again.

You are welcome to come over anytime you're in S. California - stash is a really good cook, and it makes him happy when we have guests with happy bellies. :)

It was very cute seeing you all chowing down on chips and guac when you first arrived at our house...

I make a mean fish out of the oven with almond nuts and lemon. And a very nice pasta-pesto.

I'm a lousy cook, all in all - it's just not something I'm very good at. I blame my mother. She was a bad cook too, haha. It's funny because my brother is the same way, he ended up marrying someone who certainly knows her way around the kitchen, too.

But I have become quite good at making fish these past couple of years because I eat differently than stash and our son.

I do like to make baked goods, even though I really don't indulge on that stuff anymore. My favorites are my kick ass rum cake, and my pecan pie is quite tasty.

Ooh, I'm vegetarian. I'll opt for the salmon.

My wife doesn't eat poultry or red meat, so jerked Sammy all the way 'round.
