That being said, I have an iPhone, so I just put the film on it, and I plug it in to the laptop and listen to the film without watching it. Then I get the full experience and what seems like some better audio.

Oooo, now there is a thought!
For on the go one could probably listen straight through the phone in the car, provided it's equipped with an auxiliary jack.
Hmmm!

Listening to it right now while it plays on my second monitor. Our japanese goddess is walking through the forest laughing and seeminlgy struggling with her psychedelics.... ... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand... Escape Velocity.
It does sound a looooooooooooooot different from the film in the headphones.

I'll post it here with a password relating to the purchase of the actual Don't Think, i.e. if you haven't bought it already, you won't know the password, and that'll keep the mods and whoever else happy.

There's a technique, mainly used to remove center panned vocals in songs, that works by reversing the polarity of one of the channels and placing it over the other. This cancels out anything present in both channels, i.e. anything that's mono, and isolates anything in stereo. I did this to Saturate, and it almost perfectly isolated the crowd noise. Here's a short sample of it (shouldn't qualify as a leak, tine music is hardly there):

So, yes. The music on the CD seems to be very much center-panned. It definitely isn't mono, but the only audio in stereo is the crowd noise and some symetrical ambiance from the music. It's not a problem with the pressing / production, I suppose it's just how the The Chemical Brothers chose to present the recording.
I think it sounds perfect no matter what, though I wonder about the 7.1 thing...
Hello,
Yes either audio CD must be damaged or your stereo must be have some technical problem.
So better you take another CD player...
