First, a disclaimer: let me say right off that I do not believe in the myth of the 'Liberal Media'. All media companies, with the exception of a tiny, tiny number of independent print companies, are giant corporations owned by capitalists who have a right wing agenda.

That being said, I read this is the headline on Yahoo News:

Poll Says Americans See N. Korea As Threat

Look at that headline. What exactly is it saying? It's not stating any sort of fact at all. It's stating a supposed OPINION of this nebuluos group called 'Americans'. Which americans? the ones who are home all day to answer their phones and take questions from pollsters?

Then, when you read the article, it says

People in the United States now consider North Korea (news - web sites) to be one of the country's biggest enemies ? up sharply from four years ago, a poll found.

When a Gallup poll asked people in the United States which country they "considered to be America's greatest enemy today," North Korea and Iraq (news - web sites) were tied for first, with 22 percent choosing each country.

Iran was third, chosen by 14 percent, while China was chosen by 10 percent.

Ok, read that again.

NORTH KOREA AND IRAQ ARE TIED?!? We fucking own Iraq, it's ours, it's our little oil filled playground. The only americans they're capable of hurting are the poor assholes who thought joining the National Guard was a fun way to make some extra money, and STILL, Detroit has more murders per capita than all of Iraq. SO HOW THE FUCK IS IRAQ AMERICA'S GREATEST ENEMY? It makes as much fucking sense as saying 'Iowa is america's greatest enemy', or, to be more specific, 'Puerto Rico is america's greatest enemy'.

The headline of this article should have read, 'The Media has finally perfected it's ability to brainwash the american people into believing whatever the current adminstration wants it to believe'. People were so well indoctrinated, so well brainwashed, so well programmed to think that Iraq was some sort of danger, even 2 fucking years after their entire government and military were destroyed, people still believe the lies they were told.

/rant off, I'm going to go turn up 'Left Right' to 11 and burn a flag.

*sigh*

I don't like having you away on business trips. You start to get so irritable.

Point on the misleading headlines. The Liberal Media is a myth.

There's a balcony on the smoking patio, about 3 floors up... I'm thinking of pissing off of it.

Its really sad when you read something like this. Poor N.Korea can't even live in peace with the threat of Americans attacking them any moment now. who is the terrorist here ? and what the fuck was that premptive strike bullshit.I am 100% sure that in coming months Iran is going down and soo N.Korea. Ladies and gentlemen mind bending chemicals. We are wittnessing WW3 as we speak. Sooner or later some middle east nation is going to snap and when that happens( not that it's not been happeing-Palestine) all hell will break through. the sad thing is that europe is doing nothing about it. C'mon France Stand up Germany Stand Up China ghetto world stand up.

I never believe these polls esp. the one conducted by FOX news. yeah right dude Fox is a complete joke and is aimed at 50% of American who are highly unintelligent and are qualified for cleaning shit in some countries. It's all fucked up.

Im currently writing my english coursework on this type of propaganda, and have read George Orwell's 1984 which is fascinating if you are interested in this type of stuff, also i am using an article www.buzzflash.com/contributors/04/11/con04503.html titled "why bush's america feels like orwells 1984" its a very well written intelligent article, much better than Fahrenheit 9/11, which had some good content, but was clear that michael moore had created a charicature of bush purely for laughs using clever editing.

There is no need for N.Korea or Iran to upgrade nuclear arsenals. Even if they say its for power, no need to.
