I doubt it, since EBW8 was a B-Side to Salmon Dance. Is the edit good ? :) Anything different from the regular track ?

i speculate whether record budget cuts have to do with the short number of singles. some of you may recall that record labels are becoming more picky with signing new artist (good luck for us young musicians out here) amongst other actions to compensate for the huge drop in profits over the years. since it probably costs a bit of money to press thousands of radio promos, singles, and all the promotion stuff, you can see where budget cuts come in to play. and let's not forget how much cheaper it is to post stuff on itunes (which i'm mixed about [pro live releases!]).

I don't care so much what the next single (if one at all) would be. But what i hope for is a new b-side and the ARR rework to be available! I frickin love the ARR rework, especially cause of the Kraftwerk sample.

I think we're past the point of no return on the 3rd single situation.

Yes! Maybe the Animal Song? The Animal Song. The Animal Song! Ah yeah, did I mention the ... Animal Song? No? Then again: the Animal Song. But also the Animal song were nice to be released digitally. If the Animal Song was released I'd take any format. Damn, any! Even it'd came in the shape of an old school cassette tape. I WOULD TAKE IT! You know, the Animal Song!

Lets all worship the Animal Song!!!!

Strangely enough though All Rights Reserved is getting air play on a radio station in Aus... actually the same one thats supporting the tour here. They're not one of those radio stations who would play a track which isn't released as a single so I'm confused.

its a little early but thanks anyway

Csar, let other tracks have their day on the next singe. Like the animal track, did you ever stop to consider putting that one on the next single? I would also suggest the animal track but Tom and Ed would really have to read the board more often to get the point across.

And speaking of the legendary treasure sofa?, I wonder wat it looks like? Is it one of those 70s throwback ones? or is it nice and posh leather?

hahaha - you kids are so demanding! ;) I'm all for the Animal Song - but I'll take whatever the Chems deem worthy enough to share with us.

And Ryno - Only the plushest of sofas for Tom and Ed. The kind that are real cushiony and therefore prone to cavernous crevices that treasures can fall into.

(the "sofa" is definitely this year's "jerk chicken" in terms of forum inside jokes)

PREDICTION:

4 years from now a B-side will be found on a new single. the title of the B-Side being "The Animal Song". the engraving being "found this one from behind the sofa"

I doubt it.

The date on that CD is 10th of Sep last year, which is around the time that Salmon Dance came out... plus it mentions this as the flip-side to TSD, so put the two and two together, this was just put into citculation last year to co-promote TSD...

Though I wish I was wrong. I just want a third single with The Animal Song and EBW9 on it. :(

It's weird though, that no one's heard this edit even once since September 10th..

I guess they will surprise us all by releasing new material this year! Since Ed split up from Lilly Allen he has plenty of time to turn the knobs again for new tracks.
