Mine was left on a plane, it just slipped out of my pocket and I didn't realize until after customs. The lady at Newcastle Airport keeps telling me to ring back tomorrow, but its looking less and less likely that it will turn up. I really can't be arsed to paying out 100 or whatever for a new one, put all the contacts back on, try and remember new number etc etc }:-@.

Well, I was eating a pistachio nut (on the other side of my mouth no less) and I felt a sort of stinging pain, then a large crumble chunk of tooth on my tongue.

God damn it. I really hope I can get into a dentist tomorrow. And I hope I don't need to have a root canal or crown put on. The filling's really old and my tooth was drilled on the top and sides, so it was a matter of time before something like this would happen. It's just shit timing. Then again, tooth problem always happen at a shit time.

aww, thanks Jeanie, the tooth is doing better. Went to the emergency dentist today. It's a temporary fix that'll get me through until my regular dentist gets back from the holidays.

We saw the Narnia flick a couple weekends ago and took our son. A very enjoyable flick it was, and great special effects (thanks to Peter Jackson's WETA team who did all of that!) I should pick up the books and give them a read again since it's been forever.

Chai is a character in the Hebrew alphabet that appears on the Dreidel, the traditional jewish chanukka toy... it's pronounced 'cHai' or 'High', so therein lies the joke.

dude, I used to fuckin love chai tea, but I haven't been able to drink it in the last 7 years.... when whirly was going to give birth, we stopped and I got a chai tea on the way to the hospital... I was so stressed it gave me this really nightmarish heartburn, the kind where you can feel it all the way up to your back teeth, and I haven't been able to touch it since.

Yeah, I haven't touched Cichlon (the Bacardi rum spiked with tequila) after I downed most of a bottle of it straight in a little over an hour one NYE a few years back. My subsequent vomitus was black. I literally could not get off my g/f's couch until after 6PM the next day.

I'm going to try to avoid hangovers by sticking strictly to Class A's this holiday season.
