Does Aoki really do that much? Admittedly he collaborates with a lot of people who do and he acts like a rockstar on stage, but I haven't really picked up on the kind of posturing mentioned in that quote.

Not that I disagree with that but how can they denounce that and collaborate with...Steve Aoki at the same time ?

I don't know what you are talking about, but one song i listen a lot to these days is the "Falling Down" remix by the Brothers

Nothing, except it's fuckin' old, but pouring champagne onto the equipment and not paying it back is seriously stupid and unrespectful.

I'm really enjoying this live CD -- this "Dubstep" version of Thunder was a delightful surprise. The original was just amazing, and this version puts a unique spin on it. I love that classic bass-guitar at the beginning -- it reminds me of Scott Pilgrim

Actually it was a massacre. The original version was so awesome
Speaking of which I STILL WOULD FUCKING LIKE TO KNOW WHY THEY REMOVED SO MANY SONGS FROM THE DVD !

How is it a massacre considering what the live version is?
I mean, the live version is only 2 minutes long, and it would definitely get dull if it was extended by 2-3 minutes. Concerning it's structure, it has a slowed down beat, more cymbals, droning (good type) of bass similar to that classic sample at the beginning, and it has some creepy rising synths. Now compare that to the original's first two minutes: faster, "Jittery" beat, lots of "huh! hold up!"s, no real cool samples, synths and complexity come in about 1.5 minutes.

Both versions seem to have their advantages, so why is the live version a massacre? Slower beat? Well, I guess EPD sucks compared to DYOH, if that's the rule. :???:
Not that this is really anything like dubstep, but I do like it, and I know I'm one of the few that like dubstep, so... slower beats and "Dubstep"-labels make things suck, apparently.

Justice - Audio Video Disco

As for that Warrior's Dance footage, I'm fine with the remix... I can't bring myself to look at the DVD, let alone buy it, though. It just keeps reminding me of how much great content they cut out of the show.
