Congrats on the job, Thomas. Good weekend, all in all, I guess.

Jeanie, I'm always obsessed with the weather, too. I don't know why we don't have an official Weather Thread on here. Half of General Bullshit is talking about the temperature. :)

yeah Flaming Lips live are awesome.Their show is almost exclusively from the last three albums. If any of you guys wanna know about some bad weather come to Ireland.Up until 2 weeks ago it had rained every day for 46 days!Worst summer I can remember. Temps around 18C,GOTTA be something to this climate change milarkey! At least it cleared up for Electric Picnic last weekend and sun is shining now but already you can see the shortening of the evenings.Mid summer it stays light til like 10.30pm here but its already back to about 8-8.30.I DO have one guaranteed week of hot rays to look forward to as I'm off to Turkey next Saturday 15th.Cant come quick enough.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the Flaming Lips show was amazing! I can't believe the little festival thing they performed at was for free! It was really well run.

(I would post pictures but my friend has them on her camera)

yes and yes....both were brief.

I couldnt believe the amount of confetti they shot out.

Great Show. Both Visually and Musically.

"Fight Test" was my favorite, as well as the "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" song

I detest working on weekends especially when I've worked all week.

Fucking company I work for has the worst IT department ever. A great bunch of guys, but not enough of them to do the job properly. Spat out double, triple quadruple inquiries for each question that came our way. Fucking email exchange server problems. Some of these inquiries are a week old so I have to go by memory on what I "think" have been handled so I'm not tackling a problem that was already resolved last week. Bollucks, I say. Nothing quite like dealing with 500+ emails on a Sunday morning, all of which either need to be dealt with.

But news of forum love makes me happy. Oh, and so does the light at the end of the tunnel a.k.a. Chemical Brothers on the 29th! Where's my friggen time machine!!??

strolled around a best buy for 2 hours waiting for my friend to get her HP Laptop. Then did homework for 4 hours. At least I was listening to my New Jaga Jazzist Magazine import today (though released back in 98)

I love MSTRKRFT. Listening to their 2006 Transmusicalles set right now. When I saw them live last year they closed their set with the theme song from the show "Cheers" and the whole club sang along. Fantastic.

So I just found out today that the headaches That I've been having is due to me being near sighted. So in other words I need to get glasses.....umm.......YAH!!!!! I'm actually psyched. I'm thinking I should get ones like David Tenant wears in DR. Who (I'm a major who fan). any ideas?

I'm glad you found the source of your headaches, Rynostar. You shouldn't have to live with pain.

Oh. And I think glasses are sexy. As for ideas, it's hard to tell unless we know what you look like. ;) Your best bet is just get yourself to a store that sells glasses and try on a bunch of frames and see which ones suit your face, because some might look really cool on the next guy but look not-so-cool on you. All depends on the size of your noggin and the shape of your face, really. Bring a woman along with you when you try them on, and she'll let you know what's what (but that's just my opinion!)

Rynostar is Sawyer (in a way) except i think Sawyer was far sighted.

It's weird cause as soon as the optometrsit mentioned glasses I thought sawyer. Now I just need a southern accent. I've told some of my female friends about getting them and they've said "That'll be HOT" Lol

And realizing that now....yah I've never put a pic of myself up here. I remember seeing instructions on how to do it when we changed forum types but I forget where it is. If someone could help I could get one up here evetually. No longer be a random semi regular chemical face in this small crowd.

Damn Bosco, I gotta get a piece of that fantasy baseball action... if only I followed sports - I sure could use the money. Maybe you should take the cash and bank it away so you can catch the Chems in London!

mario - I hope you're feeling better soon.

I'm so glad I took the next couple of days off!
