Hi Everyone,

Iv been a long time Chemical Brothers fan and seen them live many a time having a fantastic night on every one.

Im currently studying media technology at Salford university and i have decided to do my final project on 'Live Performance and Rendering using HD' and thought one of my favorite bands would be an ideal place to start some of my research.

Im also currently in the early stages of becoming a VJ myself having purchased software(VDMX), a Novation remote Zero-SL and a projector and having done a few small music shows for friends and a few theater productions including a community theater production done at the Zion youth arts centre in Manchester.

I would like to know any information i can on what kid of devices the Chemical Brothers use to project, display and synchronize their visuals during live performances.

Vegetable Visions/Flat Nose George do all the Chems visuals, I know he uses a Caos Pad. There is more info here:

I use VJamm for visuals. I really think Tom and Ed should too (or a similar software).

Thanks for the link L_D_E but thats just the director, im not so sure he has anything to do with the technology behind the live synchronization and projection of the visuals.

prochem - Iv looked at Vjamm myself and it is very good however im looking specifically for what the Chemical Brothers use to put into my report.

As for finding the pages on the forums, i cant seem to locate them. Am i being a complete idiot or is there no search function?
