Hey I need to drop in too! I'm trying to feed my 4 week old son right now, but he's too tired... Then he'll wake up and flip out that he's hungry, just like his dad : /
Anyway, sorry poots about the test! Hang in there. Mia, when are y'all heading up here again?! Bosco & Darkstar, when's the next Coachella trip? Shit, I'll need a babysitter.

Daddy Biff! It might be a while before we head up your way again... but hmmm... within the next year would be a good goal! It would be awesome to meet your sweet baby boy and to see you and Jaime again. :) And next time head over to San Francisco to see Pooter.

Darkstar, long time to peep on the boards! It's always great to see you around!

And to my USA friends on this forum, Happy Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for you all and the music that brought me here. Big Love!
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

I'm headed to Disney World for a family wedding next week. I'm not entirely sure why I'm attending since I'm hurting financially and have mixed feelings about the Disney Corporation. But somehow my family has suckered me into attending. I'm approaching this trip with a dangerous strategy, where I will be charging all my expenses to my credit card. Surely, I will be regretting this upon my return to real life.

On the plus side, I have no doubt I'll be swept into all that warm nostalgic family feeling once I get there.

We leave to come back on the 4th. Not sure what our itinerary looks like yet but if time allows, that would be cool.

Just a random post here:

So a big touring festival called the Big Day Out in Australia lost Blur as a headliner and media went a little crazy afterwards cause they just posted on FB before they even knew. Anyway long story short. Rumours are high for the replacement/s stating they will be 3 bands and one website is suggesting The Chemical Brothers lol. I would love this to be true but I doubt it and just shows the ignorance of this journalist I think.

The article in question.

Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.

Chems would ubercool, but Blur live is still a huge event. If i become a rockstar someday i want to play at the Pyramid Stage and perform Tender - and i want all the 60.000 people in the crowd to sing along with me. Or Don't Look Back In Anger. Or The Drugs Don't Work. But Tender.

Update on replacements: In an ironic twist Beady Eye is one of the bands replacing them as well Deftones and The Hives. Must say, even all 3 of those still doesn't make up for it for me since they were hyping it up too. The festival been going through some promoting/management changes and clashes with egos between them are happening. They'll probably tour by themselves maybe.

More whirly drama for anyone that's wondering "gee where's whirlygirl disappeared off to, again?" Shortly after our Thanksgiving meal (a few hours after I posted here) I shut the dinner party down, booted the guests out and took my husband to the emergency room for a case of "is it heartburn, or a heart attack?" Well, it turned out to be the latter (although mild) with roughly a 99% blockage in the circumflex artery of the heart. No muscle damage, but it required some minor surgery to put a stent in followed by a couple days in the hospital. He's doing great now. Who knew, right?

Needless to say, every bad thing you do to your body just comes back to fuck shit up later on, hahah

So. Yeah. 2013 wasn't a bad year necessarily but these last few months I feel I've been dodging arrows. I am DONE already!
