Hy, dear Chemical fans!

I'm a fan from Croatia, and I really love all work from Chemical Ed & Tom.
Yesterday I have found an interesting possibility to win "Hanna" soundtrack on one Croatian site dedicated to music, so I would like to give it a try (Click here for a link --> Muzika.hr).
To win the CD, you have to answer the following question:
"What is the name of the movie for which The Chemical Brothers have written music for the first time?"
(It's my translation of the question which is written on Croatian, of course)
As far as I know, it's "Hanna". The first and latest Chemical Brothers soundtrack.
They haven't created any other soundtracks. But, I'm not sure do they (on that music site) think on full soundtrack or at least one created song for a movie. If they think about this 2nd thing, then I'm really not sure what was the first movie for which they have created music. Maybe "Black Swan" :?:

So, my fellow friends...I need help from you!

Thanks,
Matija

Hi Matija, that's a bit of a trick question since you're entering to win their Hanna soundtrack! What an odd question for that site to ask. You're right about Black Swan, but the music they wrote for that was never released officially, while Hanna is 100% Chems through and through. Aaargh!! Not sure what they would consider the right answer! Sorry I can't be of more help!

Thanks for helping, I appreciate that.
Yes, you are right...really an odd question.

But, tell me...except those two movies, have they created music for any other film?
If not, than it's obvious that this is a trick question...I think that the answer should be "Hanna".

No - the Chems haven't created music for any other film.

Good luck and I hope you win! :)

Thank you once again!
You've been very helpful to me. I hope that I will win it, but the chances are not big.
I will definitely let you know if I win, and I will tell you what they thought is the right answer.

Bye,
Matija

their music has been used in a number of films/series etc. however, these were licenced, like galaxy bounce was (even though I have read somewhere galaxy bounce was written for tomb raider but it appeared on CWU). I do believe don't think and the other chems songs in black swan have been written for black swan, making this one the right answer. still, hanna is their first OST - very weird question, they don't know the right answer themselves probably.

How long were they involved in the production of Black Swan? It seems a little strange to me that they'd preview a piece of soundtrack material along with a Further song in the same DJ set.

I hope you didn't think this information was free. Whirly wants her share, what she is owed. You have one week.

Hahaha...

Well, I can send her a postcard if she wants...
Also, as I can see, she is from California, and I plan to go there next summer to work as a student for few months, so we can actually meet and I could thank her face to face. I suppose that's fair enough.

You've said nothing wrong Chaser. It's very sweet of you - I'm happy to help a brother or sister out, no special thanks needed, it's my pleasure. :) I think some of the reactions in here are more playing around than they are accusing you of anything.
