I just saw a live set from Squarepusher and some of the guys there were using earplugs.

Some time ago I heard that England had a law about noise polution.

I play with a scottish bagpipe band, each bagpipe is like 115dBA, so we wear earplugs.

Sometimes I have them, mostly don't because I can hear my breathing and blowing and I cannot concentrate on the tune.

Do you wear earplugs when you go to a concert, gig, disco, etc?

No, but I think I should be doing. I'm not getting any younger and the tinnitus is building up.

My tip is to invest in a really good pair of earplugs, buy the most expensive ones!

That way, you'll get a good sound and also protect your ears!

What do you mean?

This is something serious.

I know that some of you are angry because of new people spamming like hell, but this is something that I suffer when I play my bagpipe and something that you should be aware of when you're exposed to high dBA.

I like ones that are like foam and go a little bit inside your ear, they are soft and block sounds pretty good.

Yeah ok fair enough, I am indeed pissed off with the spam, I didn't realise this was a serious topic.

I have some ear plugs I bought for Glastonbury, but I never put them in cos I was scared I wouldn't hear a masked man enter my tent and do horrible things to me.
