CHEMICAL BROTHERS ANNOUNCE FESTIVAL DATES

"It Began in Afrika-ka-ka!"

Chemical Brothers Tom and Ed played this great track at Ultra in Miami and it brought the memories flooding back. Hopefully their forthcoming album - the follow up to 'Come With Us' from 2002 - will contain equally lush tunes. This will be their fifth studio album and is planned to be released over the summer.

As part of the release The Chems will go on tour and current confirmed dates include Glastonbury (25th-27th June), the Oxygen Festival in Ireland (10th July), T in the Park in Scotland (11th July) and the Lowlands Festival in Holland (20th-22nd August). Having just being awarded a Dancestar award for "Best International Act" you can expect some more heavy block rocking beats from them this year.

More (reworked) Chemical Brothers material is expected to appear on Sasha's upcoming Global Underground album. The Next DJ date for Tom and Ed will be Centro-Fly in New York on Friday 26th March. (03/17/04)

i know this has been mentioned here before but i never knew that it was gonna come out on global underground. their label is the mark of quality!!! i must admit sasha is a god. i'm not that bothered about the progressive house scene that he occupies. but his artist album that came out last year 'airdrawndagger' was superb. i eagerly await this release!!

@sneaker: Yes I heard only good stuff about the new Sasha Global-album.

Also from the Junkie XL camp. (JXL also contributes)

I can't hardly wait.

Yes I know Tom even helped Sasha on the airdrawndagger album with some production stuff.

Do you even know that airdrawndagger was recorded in Tom his own studio in amsterdam.

That studio is called: The computerhellcabin.

Now Tom has moved to the US (NY I think).

So he can focus more on music for commercials, animations and computer games.

I hope he'll still make some of those great albums.
