Bug :
It happens from time to time when i click on the "view last post"-button that i am not been forwarded to the last post and instead of that to the first post of that topic

Question :

When i'm in specific thread (the general bullshit thread for example), how do i get back to the "chemical talk"-forum without going the whole way back to the forum front page and from there back to the chemical talk section?

Question :
How do i send personal messages to members? The only thing i've found is to write comments on their profile.

Good thread, as there are still a few things that need to be ironed out that only the admins can handle (and answer the first question you have). As for private messages, there doesn't seem to be a way to send them. I know this forum can pretty much do everything but cook and clean but I think it would be nice to have personal messages again. Like in the olden days. Nudge nudge, ;) ;)

To add, I have also noticed:

Someone in another thread mentioned the music player stopped working.

Multiquote isn't working.

multiquote does work! just hit 'multiquote' on the posts you want to quote and the multiquote box will turn grey if selected. then hit 'add reply' and bobs your uncle.

Hmm, cool - as soon as I can kick my son off the computer, I'll have to give that multiquote another try.

yes a "back to last forum visited" button would be nice.

also optimizing the mobile version of the forum would be nice. i have a homescreen link on my iphone to it, but for some reason the version of the forum for mobile devices doesnt allow you to zoom in to particular buttons, making anyone with normal size fingers hit all the wrong buttons!

maybe an iphone app would be nice?!!?!? ( we can but dream!)

all in all though, the forum is great

Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

A "New posts since your last visit" function would be nice too. We wouldn't have to check every section to find out which threads have new posts.

Hi all, I found a bug on the main site, when I try to attend the gig at Balaton Sound.
I have an account on lastfm (with the same username), previously logged in with the browser.
Clicking the 'Add yourself' button shows up an authorization warning, and when I click
'Yes, allow access', the returning site here says
'SOMETHING WENT WRONG
Have you checked the address bar?'
Tried with IE, Firefox and Chrome.
help pls :)

There is this, which serves a similar function:
http://www.thechemic...earch&do=active

It is called "Active posts" near the bottom of the main forum page.

Ok, I know i am seriously simple at the best of times but right now I cannot find the damn search function.
Is it hidden in plain sight or something?
Do I need glasses?
Help?

Now I have an issue: it seems that a day after you make a post, you lose the ability to edit it. Was this deliberate? Can it be changed? There's some things I'd like to change about my previous posts that I currently can't.

Not sure if it's deliberate but it would seem that way. I think the last forum you only had a short window of time to edit posts (only an hour).

If there's things you need changed just shoot me an email with a link to your post and what all you'd like changed - I don't have access to moderating via my phone and I'm not always at a computer, but I'll try to get to it as fast as I can.

are you sure? I looked and I can still edit posts from a few days ago.
Is this like the problem when we started on this version of the forum with the inability to do a quick reply? Is that the case? we only can edit for an extended amount of time in certain folders?
