Can anyone tell me the name of the track from which this sample comes from? I did have the track many years ago but I cannot find it in any Keith Murray discography.

I believe its a live recording from a gig at the Irvine Plaza, take a look at the sleevenotes. Dunno if that answers your question.

The vocal sample repeated through the song is by Keith Murray but I don't know the song.

The intro speech thing is Kool Herc at the Irving Plaza in '96

not sure which track it is....I've got the first keith murray album on CD somewhere here. will have a look at some point although it could just be a freestyle they've sampled



they used a bit of that biggie smalls freestyle on their essential mix didn't they? (I haven't listened to that in ages my memory could be playing up)



speaking of which what ever happened to the mooted 2nd essential mix they were going to do?...they appeared on the listing briefly and then it never came off?....would like to hear them do that again.
