I am absolutely disgusted with the IE-supporters.

I mean, I have nothing against you using it -- but to completely ignore us (or even argue with us) when we recommend better solutions is really rather pathetic.

IE is, simply put, obsolete. The "simplicity" is in fact nonexistent -- it has fewer features than FireFox or Safari and is more complex.

Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any above insults. They are not personal and likely are not justified. However, I must recommend FireFox. Or, go Mac and use Safari.

On a side note, it's interesting that you iguanapunk like to ridicule people who speak other languages than english. I remember you saying that you were subjected to racism sometime in the past. Oh well, you're joking now and you were probably joking at that time too. ;-)

damn it man, stop remembering what I say! Contradiction is my middle name.

irrelevant of having antivirus software you are not protected by the holes in IE maybe and your're lucky not to have visited any bad sites in your time.

norton antivirus is a little misleading, seems like one BIG marketting program to me, they take ages to update definitions when new viruses hit but the software is keen to tell you you've been protected from an IE specific vbscript attack instead of recommending the patch you should have downloaded from windows update months ago.

using IE and running norton you probably need a 3ghz machine to have anything resembling a fast pc considering the bloat both those entail.

get a decent antivirus software like kaspersky and try opera or firefox web browser.

once you've got used to tabbed browsing and mouse gestures you'll never go back.

cheers
