I know mate, heat wave is nice, but global warming is a worry of mine.

Just got this years uni results back, average of 57%, means i have to work harder next year for the 2.1 target.

It was really hot this weekend, too. Even down at the beach it was very warm, more so yesterday than today. Needless to say I applied my 500 spf sunblock. :P I like the sunny days but hot weather isn't my thing, what was nice about last night was that it was warm while bar hopping downtown. But that could've been the warming powers of booze.

It's been 30 degrees Celsius the last few days, which has been really nice. Last night it was just gorgeous out. Really enjoying it.

Manjimup?! Wow nice part of Australia right there. Fantastic forest areas. Nice beaches along the coast from there too with great fishing spots. The local honey is the bessssst as well!

There might be a bit of coldish/wet weather in that area sometimes over July/August, so I'd pack some rain jackets/jumpers. Nothing too bad though. 15-20 degrees celsius during the day, 5-10 at night. I'd expect the people you're staying with to have good heating though.

Some good walking boots/shoes would be a good idea too. There are lots of great bushwalking spots around there.

Good heating? In that weather? hehehe, I guess that's a little chilly at night. Nice t-shirt and shorts weather during the day though, perfect for tennis or some footie. :D

Hey kiddo, what's up?? :) Long time, no see!!

That's going to be an awesome thing for you to experience being a foreign exchange student! You're going to love it! You get the best of both worlds - you're not a jaded local, and you're not quite a tourist just taking a couple days passing through. Niiiiiice!!

Good stuff Egil...should be a great experience

Well I've never heard of that town before (is it near perth?) but if you are coming down to the south then I'd probably go with consumer and pack a few willies as Australia is at its coldest right now. Most of us are quiet friendly and since your an exchange student everyone will probably want to know you....you might go well with the ladies ;-)

And seriously Bosco how old is that saying... its too cold at the moment to sit outside and have a BBQ!! well in melbourne it is.
its a little early but thanks anyway
