So, I got two japanese remastered chems albums now : EPD and DYOH. The big question is : is the sound really better ? I didn't hear a big difference... Gonna make some experiences to see if the sound is really different on the original and the remaster.

So, I inverted the original and mixed it with the remaster, nothing left at all, which means, they're exactly the same :(

Yea, I wouldn't have expected it to be any different.

They don't even need remastering.

Are those the 'special edition' card fold-out ones you can get from eil for about £30? I have a Surrender and a CWU one as well.

i have never seen the japanese cd sold as remasters, only reissues. i think the remaster is a myth

when i sampled we are the night into sound forge once i was suprised to see how much clipping there was on the recording, are all the albums like this? maybe there is a need to remaster some albums

There's "modern masters" on the sleeve.
