There's a US tour coming next year too, no dates or places yet. If you can't make it to any live shows, pick this up, they did a really nice live session on 6 Music the other day. Hearts and Pulse live.

Yeah, the 808 remix is cool, but the 90's Radio mix is much better...

Did Tom do all the mixing for it? It definitely has that chemical sound to it mixing wise........ Looking above i am glad they will be performing in toronto in may :)

This album is certainly amazing. It is one of my favorite releases from the past couple of years and my favorite new artist!! Tom didn't mix the whole album, so far we have his Hearts remix which is cool: http://www.astralwer...ands-rar-remix/

I already told my husband I'd like to see the show on 5/23 - it's a Wednesday and it's in the big city. It's far enough in advance to book time morning hours off work the following Thursday but I don't know how this will coincide with my studies. Plus it's a school night for our son and he's not quite old enough to leave at home during late hours. We'll see. It kinda blows being a responsible adult sometimes but hopefully we'll work it out! :D

i can swear i read an interview somewhere saying that the guy who produced her or signed her knows Tom cause his girlfriend sang on a chems record and that he had gave tom a copy of her demos when it was all on an acoustic guitar and Tom had wanted to mix the album.........at least thats how i think it read..

That thing still says there's going to be three songs mixed by Tom...

Simon Raymonde said:

The album's actually mixed by this other fellow, but the idea of having three songs mixed by the Chemical Brothers is quite mouthwatering because I am a big, big fan of theirs too.

I'm sure i'll build more interest for the band when that date comes up! Would be better if they got added to Coachella!

Anyone following these guys anymore? Back in September while on tour with M83 they did an incredible live session with a Portland art group called Room 205. They played three songs which have been completely re-tooled from their original studio version - in their underwear. Really fantastic stuff here:

Load Your Eyes (Room 205)

Wired (Room 205)

Hearts (Room 205) (this is long and ambient, i put the short punchier ones in the player)

Thanks for digging those ones out of the digital mudd that is Youtube. Yes, these are splendid tracks. I like the vibe and use of good ol' dirty vintage synths. I surely will keep track of 'em.

Yeah, those sessions are so lush!

Is there a way to obtain the audio from those YouTube clips?
