It might just be me, but I'm not a very date-oriented person; I really have trouble remember birthdays... there is just something about the combination of a month with a number that won't record in my head, I suppose. Anyways, I'm impressed!
We could make a forum calendar with various dates in Chemical history, with various album artwork and whatnot as the picture!

1 year ago today, On April 19, 2009
The Chemical Brothers debut their new track at Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California. And what a night it was to witness the world premiere of the 'last track'!
*sigh*
Truly a highlight. I'm so grateful for that moment. And it warms my heart that I got to be there with my chemical posse and experience it together, haha!

Well, they do have the "Chronicles" section on the tabs above... I suppose we could upload all this content there.

Listen to stuff on the same album. Like Alive Alone and F*ck Up Beats, or All Rights Reserved and Harpoons.
You can't accuse The Chems of consistency, that's for sure.

Great clip,
I was stood next to the blue girl you see about 0.40 in
All the DYOH stories brought back memories
My friend told me to buy settign sun, i hadnt even heard it but he told me i had to
i took it home and thought it was awesome, so i went to library and took out Exit Planet Dust, which i fell in love with (also took out Dubnobasswithmyheadman, but that's a different obsession)
So when DYOH came out i was really really excited, but i didnt really like it at first. i didnt get the harder dirtier sound, and missed the more acidy sounds from EPD
i finally managed to listen to it all the way through and discovered the last two tracks which blew me away, then slowly i fell in love with the rest of it

It may be a thorn in the sides of those who eagerly await the new album and want first dibs on a leak (and I totally understand from that perspective), but it's actually not a bad thing to see a label protect their interests as well as those of the band.
To be honest, I'm kind of digging on the wait and hype, and it's becoming more and more of a challenge as time goes on not to give in to listening to previews and youtube clips. I like that. I don't know if I could have done that a year or 2 ago, I know in the past I haven't been able to play the waiting game - but things are different now, things have changed personally and in some ways, my hope is this new album will mark a new era and fresh perspective. With that in mind I'm feeling confident in playing the waiting game. Even though the wait is painful! hahaha
I believe the pay off will be worth it!
